This game is gorgeous and Im loving the wit and humor in the side missions. But the gem requirements to upgrade and get kat fully upgraded are nuts. I am done the main game and 45 side missions and have probably 100k left to ugrade her. Wtf?
Yea I think you really are screwed. I got the shorts immediately after passing 300 tokens. Is there anything you haven't tried yet?

Chapter 14 is one of the most disgustingly unfun, unfair and unpleasant stealth segments I've ever played in a game, perhaps ever. The fact that I am forcing myself though this utter drivel just to verify if my 35h save file is glitched is even worse.

It doesn't seem like they are but just in case, are the side missions missable? I don't remember them being missable in the first game. I want to progress the main story for a bit.
Both are good costumes, but I wish hair doesn't change with idol costume. Hate that color and doesn't suit Kat.

Stats say I have 30 hours and 49% story content done. How. I know I fly around and have a fuckton of gems, but jeez.
Also man, some cardinal sins of Escort, Stealth, or Protect missions. Luckily, they've all been pretty easy. Stealth is the only one that's finicky since it wants you to take certain paths mostly. They all feel like very natural guided paths at least. I'm not really staring anywhere in a stealth mission and wondering where I can even go.
Mashing Circle is still very good. Gravity Kicks are a complete chore compared to hitting circle.
I've not had many problems with the Photo Hint Treasure chests either. All of the pictures I've gotten have been actually good pictures with some kind of recognizable landmark. It can be hard at times when the chest is on the side of a building though and just surrounded by samey floating buildings.

So here's what I think happened. I got new results from the challenges that I couldn't load in. I reloaded my save after quitting the game so they'd show up, and everything popped and I got the notifications for the new costume. Except it didn't show up. It just wasn't there. So I guess that you have to be in-game for the unlock to happen.
I reloaded a save 15 hours earlier (thanks jesus for online storage) and the messages popped as soon as I loaded in and the costume was there. Points are the same but progress sure isn't haha.

Honestly, I am a bit worried that I'm enjoying throwing people in the abyss so much.

What? Is that a thing? All my games are digital so I wouldn't know. You can't go in System Storage>Online storage and download a save file?
if you dont have some sort of install on your HD it wont let you download the save files.

So I need 20 something thousand gems to max out Kat's stats, but I've already cleaned up every spot on the map and mining nets them at a painfully slow pace. Does anyone know if there's a way to trigger a respawn of the gems in the overworld, or any fast way to grind them or am I just gonna have to mine them?
I just wanted the Work outfit. Now that I have it, I don't particularly care about the rest of what the Dusty Tokens give me tbh (I do want to know what that Unlimited Potential Talisman does though...)
The only other outfits I'm interested in now is the Kali one, and the new one I have yet to see.

I'm in chapter 8 and have 0 Dusty Tokens. How do I get into this photography thing? I've never seen any treasures, ghosts of other players, or anything like that. Or is this something for later in the game?

Can't believe how much I'm enjoying this game. Don't get me wrong I liked the first back then on my Vita but this one is on a whole different level. I'm having fun just jumping from building to building in Lunar stance, kinda takes me back to Crackdown 1 days except this is 10 times better. It's more fun than it should be.
I haven't finished the game but honestly this is already my favorite PS4 exclusive and it's not even close.

I beat some sort of optional boss, it said something about a talisman I quickly skipped through ... and then got back to find that I hadn't received anything. Oops?

Talismans obtained from bosses are just added automatically. You won't see it in the list when you leave the mining area.

Someone was asking about Rare Nevi, I found one on the 7th layer of the Delvool Mining Trench, they're green again.
