How I felt about the flower girl:
giphy.gif

I jumped into the island with no idea and then got the cut-scene. She got mad enough that she bought me down to about a quarter heart after fucking up 4 times. Was amazing.

Just had two bloodmoons in a single night. That's over one bloodmoon per night on average in post-game. Is that normal or just a bug?

Isn't it an amazing feeling when you finish a shrine, and you have no idea whether you did it "right"?

In the shrine where you need to deliver the iceblock through a fire obstacle course, I put 2 octoballoons on the block, floated it high enough and then pushed it onto the final platform using a metal block. Then I just walked through the fire area and picked it up when it was sitting right in front of the monk

Traditional puzzle solving won't be the same after this game. Physics is the future of Zelda.

I think they said that it makes it a lot easier to implement their ideas. So yeah, I agree that they will never go back (for the 3d titles)

Accidentally activated that cut scene. I honestly felt really bad for the way she chewed me out. I didn't mean to ruin her hard work. D'8

I'm not too far into the game, but was wondering if we are able to max out both stamina and hearts during a playthrough.

My understanding is there are 120 shrines so that's 30 upgrades at 4 orbs per upgrades. 30 max hearts in game so subtract the starting 3 and 4 obtained from dungeons that leaves 23 hearts needed to max out. How many upgrades are needed to max stamina? Is it 7?

I think people should do the main objectives till they get their shieka slate upgrades available. If anything it just helps your exploration. Also at a certain point they just give you more ovjectives that further encourage random, wild exploration.

lmao.

Fuck that flower girl though. I stepped on a single flower and I got sent back. I had to walk slowly through

With my progress from yesterday, I have put 39:11 into this game, discovered 60 shrines, and obtained
the Master Sword
.

I think it's time to do the story quests now.

The walk along the entire south eastern beach was really fulfilling - found another miniboss, a hidden shrine quest, good spots for future loot and quite some rupees! Took some time but it was really worth it!

Also, for anyone wondering how to get easy diamonds: talk to a certain Zora guy in the village he will trade it in for loot that is actually not that difficult to get! I feel like this will be a nice way of making money.

Just went a little Amiibo crazy. Picked up the OoT Link, 30th Anniversary Link and Zelda Toons, Twilight Princess Zelda, and Shiek all at my local Toys R Us.

Oops

Apparently there is some Action Replay amiibo mimic thing that can get you most of the stuff as well. Was reading about it on reddit. The guy said he bought it for like $15 at his gamestop and just had to plug into his pc and find some files etc.

Can you get equipment that completely protects against cold? I really don't want to go through this
Medoh dungeon
and trying to mind my hearts at the same time.

Seriously. I went back yesterday and tried to light the flowers on fire. Sadly didn't work, which is kinda surprising. I used both the Fire Arrow, Bomb Arrow & Bombs. Didn't try manually lighting on fire with flint though. Really wish it would destroy those damn flowers... lol

HELP!

I exited
Divine Beast Vah Naboris
because I jumped off the side and landed on a platform that wouldn't let me reenter
through a hole, and this even after rotating all of the barrels
. I went back to
the chick who uses the lightning helmet to get you in
, but that character won't help me get back (doesn't offer the option). So I
rode a sand seal back to the dungeon, but the lightening keeps taking me out
and now i don't know what to do. I'm afraid I'm going to have to restart the entire game because I can't fast travel back to the entrance (thought I could because you can fast travel to every other big damn blue circle in the game).

Any advice?

No matter how many times I shoot Farosh on the horn he keeps dropping scales. Is there a specific spot I have to hit him?

I'm not 100% sure this is the way to do it, but I got a horn every time from doing it. But I made absolutely sure I was shooting the tip of the horn, from above, while using bomb arrows (I assumed you needed to "break" the horn and didn't want to risk wasting time with regular arrows) and I never got a scale from him.

I tried the first time I was there. I wonder if I can do it with a fire rod though since I destroyed thorns with it hmmm

Does she even do anything useful in the game?

Urbosa or Zelda?

Urbosa
gives you a very strong ability after you beat Nabooris and that is very useful for taking on hoards of Moblins.

Zelda
doesn't do anything gameplay wise except direct you where to go at the beginning but story wise she keeps Calamity Ganon at bay single-handedly.

Step on them 4+ times and you get a surprise.
you get your shit pushed in. You thought Lynels were scary, nope. Wonder if it always puts you near death even with max hearts?
Either way it was an unexpected, but welcomed surprise

Just fast travel to the entrance.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't read your last sentence. Be sure your cursor isn't on the yellow dot that is the quest but on the beast. The yellow dot is on top of the beast so it easy to push the wrong one.

I unlocked a few more memories. So far I have #1, #2, #3, and #11.

Zelda really hates Link, huh? She's not enthusiastic about him and seems like she feels she should wield the Master Sword herself.

Future memory spoilers
The other memories reveal why she is upset

Sounds like good advice, but I just tried for the passed 15 minutes with no luck. I'm thinking his drop is set on your first encounter until the next in-game day or something even if you reload a save. Or it could be low percentage drops like Monster Hunter.

Man, I jiggled that cursor around for a few minutes and nothing else was there to select. I just gave up and loaded an old save.

So after 20 hours I can safely say that this is one of the best games ever made.
There was one moment when I thougt "well, I keep searching for little secrets and koroks, isn't this becoming repetitive?" and even though I was having fun (since every secret is different even by a little), I had some doubts about the way I was playing.
Becuase this game is good as much as you want it to be. So I started searching for subquests, memories, and I found new enemies, new shrines (one had a fantastic challenge) and a fucking giant creature. And now the game gave me new things that are improving my experience.
I still have to find the first big dungeon, and I still have to see probably 80% of the map, and I already know that this is just going to get better.
So if you feel like you are doing some tedious things, just change the way you play, like in MGSV.
Oh and I finally managed to reach the castle... holt shit the music!
