So I decided to check out what those octo balloons do. I attached one to a stone and it flew away, lol. Cool stuff. But for what would you use this? It's cool to see how it can make things float, but why? :)
Thanks, forgot to try that;)

There is a korok puzzle I was trying to figure out and this seems to be how to solve it (location below)

Linlure Town (puzzle below)

There is a house with a stone pattern on it that is missing a stone, couldn't figure out how to get a stone up there.

So I just (finally) unlocked this with my 8-bit Link amiibo:

Is there any pictures of what the
Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker amiibo armours
look like?

What are the icons during the loading screen? I recognize health, energy, shrines, korok seeds, rupees, and divine beasts. There's one more. It looks like a Hylian winged symbol. What's that?

EDIT: Just realized it's probably memories.

So how do you increase your strength (attack power) in this game? Is it simply through better weapons?

Better weapons, but also through recipes/elixirs that raise atk. power.

I'm in the
lizard
dungeon now and this one is great. I just have to figure out one more puzzle, it's a bit tricky.

I've been playing this game for quite a while now, and I'm impressed by how little combat I've been forced to do.

Not that I think the combat is bad, but I LOVE that it gives me the option of just climbing around enemies to avoid them. On the flip side, the few Combat Trials I've found I haven't been great at because of how relatively weak my Link is right now. I need to do some cooking and find more powerful weapons before I get back to those ones.

Most of my time spent with the game has just been exploring the world, activating the towers, and doing as many Trials as I can find.

I believe that
is your reward for beating the Rito dungeon. Hold down the jump button if you haven't.

Is
Lynel
a type of enemy? Are there several of them?

Yeah I've seen two so far.

Guys, I'm sure there are more ways to express your love for the game than just parroting "this game" ad nauseam.

Yeah, you could say:

"This FUCKING game"

"This FUCKING masterpiece of a game"

"This orgasmically sensational FUCKING masterpiece of a game"

lotta options

Wow, had a rather cool Kokiri puzzle. This game just continues to surprise me. Not just this Kokiri thing, but there are so many hidden quests that you will only notice if you stalk villagers. I am now about 40 hours in, and it is still like I just started.

Kokiri spoiler for those interested:
North west of the stables in Akkala there is a small forrest patch (just next to it, check the map). There are a set of flowers there that changes when you walk over them. And not just randomly either. You need to do it in the correct order.

I was so dumbfounded when I notice this one flower changed color. Trying all kinds of things to figure out what it was.

I did the
desert dungeon boss first and it absolutely fucked my shit up. I'm sure I missed a mechanic or something, but it was definitely a lot of fun fighting it that way and finally beating it even though I probably made it artificially difficult somehow.
There's nothing to miss there except having the correct resistance. No real trick to it, phase 2 is quite similar to another fight
Yoga clan boss fight, where you can use magnesis to levitate the thing near him to give him a shock.

I saw a fucking giant
dragon
fly up from a lake. It was way too big and scary lol. I'm still early game, just four hearts and base stamina and weapons with like 15 damage. Should I try to fight him or save for later?

That's not even true. Other than thunderbird ganon the bosses basically seem designed to miss you. I did two of the bosses without even taking damage and it has nothing to do with flurry mode because I rarely even trigger it. I never got good at it because the game never made me.

The hardest fights haven't been dungeon bosses. They've been major tests of combat or world encounters that just turned out hard for whatever reason.

I think the single hardest enemies are the centaur dudes.

Thats weird. I had the opositr experience. Then again i had so few upgrades that they could 1hko so I had to get the parry/flurry to win. Heck vs thunderblight
I didnt have enough weapons so breaking the shield was not an option.

That being said, (hyrule castle spoilers)
I fought fire and wind blight on hyrule castle, I had way too many resources from my run on the castle I just cheesed them with arrow bombs. Cant do that against calamity tho you have to land those parries and dodges on the second phase.

Edit: better formating.

You don't fight the dragon

Just went a little Amiibo crazy. Picked up the OoT Link, 30th Anniversary Link and Zelda Toons, Twilight Princess Zelda, and Shiek all at my local Toys R Us.

Oops

I saw the same thing when I crossed the bridge. I was like NOPE and ran past it as fast as I could. Managed to snap a photo though :)

I got all the main memory locations. This is probably my favorite interpretation of Zelda yet. She has so much personality compared to past Zelda's. The champions are great as well. Urbosa is probably my favorite of the four.

That was me with a shrine near the Great Plateau. It was a puzzle where you had to move around climbable cubes to create a ladder you can climb to reach a higher platform.

My solution:
The platform with the goal area is a little too high up with just those cubes alone, so I assumed you were supposed to make use of the thin rectangle tucked away on a slightly lower platform in the corner. After spending like five minutes trying to arrange it properly, I gave up and instead just brought up all the cubes I used to climb up to that elevated platform and stacked them, then paraglided to the end lol.

I also was able to finish a shrine in northwest Hyrule Field that should have made you put some spheres into some holes, but with proper timing on a spring platform you can actually completely bypass that. I thought that was what you are supposed to do and was wondering why it was so hard to time my jump, so I was surprised the goal was right in front of me when I finally made it. I actually went back and did it the "correct" way lol.

I did the exact same thing
stacked the cubes on the larger rectangle one and glided over
. Great minds think alike

This game world is fantastic.

Man I've been having a great time just exploring around and using the raft in the sea. This is the beach that's close to the tech lab. Lovely stuff. I'm on the raft now and after having used the Korok leaf several times I am going fast as hell and going towards an island in the middle of the sea.

Love love love it.
