I got a star fragment from going to the impact area it says it'll fetcha high price but can also be used in certain recipes hmm
The animals are just phasing into another reality, ala when animals appear in another persons game.

Explore a little more. You'll find him eventually. There is at least one person in the town that knows where he is.

Question about Ganon and the Divine Beasts.
If you go to Ganon before doing any of the dungeons, if you beat all of them, does it also purify the divine beasts? I didn't get a clear answer last time I asked this but could I just go to Ganon now, not save after beating him and continue from my last save and experience the dungeons normally and later take on Ganon again?

Oh man, last night I spent the better part of an hour or two trying to beat a tough enemy (for those curious, it was the
). It was as challenging and thrilling as some of the bosses I've faced in Bloodborne and the Souls games. I'm not even sure I was supposed to be fighting it at this point, but that's the beauty of this Zelda... it lets you decide that for yourself. No annoying sidekicks dissuading you or artificial gates preventing you from trying. After many attempts, I was finally successful, and I learned a ton about the dodge/parry system as a result. By the time it was over, I only had a torch left, no shields, I was running out of food, and all I had to finish it off were standard arrows. So insanely good.

Getting this game on the Wii U put getting a Switch on the backburner. I was originally going to get a Switch with Zelda, but couldn't find one, and now I probably won't get one until Mario.
I have thought about if I'd rebuy the game or not. I tend to return to open world games I like every few years, Oblivion, New Vegas and Skyrim get played by me once every few years, so I imagine I'll get a hankering for me in a year or two down the line.
If you can manage to kill one, the weapons Lizafos drop are really good, reliable early game weapons

3k. And you don't get it back directly, but the quests that it opens will get you a ton of rupees.

I did a perfect run (36 rings, I believe) and he gave me the same amount as he did if I would have gotten 30.
You can seemingly switch courses mid way and get more than that if my calculations are correct. I'm waiting till my stamina is super high before trying.
Its a great place to grind rupees regardless.

Does anyone know what I'm supposed to do with the shrines that haven't risen out the ground yet? I've encountered a few but could never figure it out.

Shrine quests. Keep exploring and you'll receive hints about them from NPCs and they'll be added to your quest log.
It's so hot there that you can actually just drop food on the ground and it will cook! I love that Nintendo went the extra mile with these little details and realism based on their physics and temperature engine
Killing enemies with fire and ice weapons cooks and freezes foods accordingly as well.

Yeah - there's that glowing orange metal circle that's near the first great fairy fountain in Kakariko Village - I think I'm supposed to drop something in the center of it and I have no idea what though lol
Does anyone know the solution?

It's a sidequest. Go talk to more villagers and do so at different points throughout the day and throughout the game.
I've done a bunch of other shrine quests and I can't figure this one out.
I've also independently solved a few without getting the shrine quest explicitly which is cool.

There's a goron near the food grill that tells that as well. As a result travellers don't buy his food anymore.

But they're perfectly content to sell me DLC that won't release until Christmas, so I guess they're not forgetting it too much.
