Call Of Duty WW2 reveal 26 april, website up [UPDATE: Leaked screenshots]

If there's one good thing I can say about AW it's the graphics, so I'm expecting SHG to hit it out of the park with the visuals.

If there's jet packs I'm done. Just can't deal with that mess anymore.

Can't wait!

Vietnam has also been done plenty. But one of the bloodiest wars in Asia, the Korean war, somehow get's little attention.

The Korean War to me represents a massive opportunity for something unique in a shooter franchise. It takes place right when really impressive changes in technology were just making their first appearances (jet aircraft, assault rifles, etc.) whilst still retaining a lot of WWII technology and ascetics. Not to mention there's a lot of REALLY kick-ass battles that took place in the Korean War (Battle of Inchon, Chosin Resevoir Breakout, etc.)

Yeah, I'm kinda surprised we haven't hit this already.

Lawl. Not even true. Treyarch basically killed their trust with the fucking abysmal BO3 campaign and Infinity Ward has actually gained a lot of points for its great SP with IW and has been a lot of cool community stuff.

Treyarch is super overrated.

I wouldn't go as far to say overrated but they royally fucked up the universe of BO and BO2 by tying it to the mess that was BO3. Something tells me that there was a major shakeup with the extra year they were given.

Treyarch make the worst COD games and I seriously disliked bo3 more than I disliked ghosts. The two worst COD games for me are bo2 and bo3.

This. I want something more akin to The Pacific or The Thin Red Line than Saving Private Ryan (which is good in its own right).

I think you'd be into the last Brothers in Arms game. That one was all about just how bullshit Operation Market Garden was.

Technically the Korean War isn't over. So I don't think any developer would like to burn their hands on an active war.

on the subject of Vietnam war, this game was great. Remember having problem running this on my computer back then.

I liked that game a lot. Very fun.

But man I hope they don't screw this up by having stuff like "what if's" and "experimental" shit in it. Please don't ruin it.

Great, it's been a good few years since I've bothered with a Call of Duty game but I'm ready for a return to WWII. Much more interested in a historical setting for this kind of game.

It's been so damn long since we had any AAA WWII game. Said this before, but we've had none this gen and we have more modern games than WWII so this is very overdue.

There's kids that game now and got a PS4 or XB1 as their first system in the past four years and they have no WWII game experience.

Wolfenstein :)

This is not the scale that Call of Duty currently deals in. At least in MP it's just 12 guys lol. Guess we gotta wait for Battlefield 1941 for the real deal.

6 vs 6 is how they did it back then, they just don't show us :p

Such a hilarious x smh shame there's no 16 vs 16 minimum or at least 8 vs 8 or 10 vs 10
Cmon activision

Mmm, I can already hear the "ping" of the m1 garand clip pinging out already!

Very excited about this, given how much I enjoyed BF1. If they can do this without a season pass I'll be in.

Hmm, I didn't know bo2 was popular. Around my circles, bo2 was pretty much universally referred to as boring ops. The only campaigns I couldn't even be bothered to finish are bo2 and bo3.
I think BO2 was probably the most boring entry as well something about it feels empty as hell. But I think im in the minority

I'm excited because of Sledgehammer, I loved their work on Advanced Warfare. On the other hand, I don't really know if I want to go back to WWII just yet, but I'm optimistic nonetheless.

That also came out. By 2015 who did Allied Assault but I think the trail blazers of the team had already left to form Infinity Ward.

I really hope they get off the habit of making the campaign some bro shooter with cool slogans and all that. I assume it will try hard to be more serious, though its still utlimately a Shooter thats meant to be fun. Im not looking for a work of art, just something that explores something less "unstoppable hero" and more "get me the f out of this map"

WaW had an amazing campaign

I have hopes for Mp simply because I didnt think COD would ever go back to a slow game with more inticrate and grounded gameplay. Speaking of 3 lane maps and perks that gove you sensing abilities and options to zoom past opponents... those are what I hate.

I sincerely hope thats whats different. People shit on the older games for camping but the current solution is to send everyone lightning fast and bouncing everywhere and I think its far too worse

I loved BO1 and Cod4 and WaW. Yes people camp, but theyve never been super successful in the end and I enjoyed going slower in some maps to check corners and throw stuns out.

BO1 and COD4 map design were my favourites and I really hope we see less maps like BO3

no need to fight over studios.

Treyarch made bad to mediocre CoD games until Black Ops 1.
Black Ops 2 was good but not good as first game.third game sucked balls in some areas.

treyarch was laughing stock during infinity ward gold days like people would say lol treyarch year fuck this shit skipping year etc..

Cause infinity war stuff was factually much more better and designed , all treyarch did all those years just copying what IW did and trying to refine it with their unique modes like zombies but all gameplay elements came from IW team.

then IW got fucked. Treyarch made a good game.

though i didnt played newest Infinite warfare , until that so called new infinity ward sucks nowadays. MW3 was a turd,so did ghosts almost killed franchise buzz/hype.
Infinite warfare looked garbage to me but people said its okay so maybe trailers were confusing idk

He just mad they beat him to the punch in making another WW2 game.

I never expect Randy to make another BiA game, as much as I want it.

You already have that.

I'm still mildly upset that more FPS games haven't borrowed BiA's squad system. I want to see it iterated upon!

6 v 6 and 8 v 8 Cod at it's best, anything over that and it becomes a clutsterfuck.

I never got peoples obsession with higher player modes.
