Damn, I wonder what ignited the nerd rage.
How so? Unless it was just a bunch of angry nerds that we didn't get more Watchers, I can't see how they would be mad.
Multiple people loudly "We waited for that shit"

I was mildly annoyed that one of the five ending credits scenes want a preview of some sort,Multiple people loudly "We waited for that shit"
Don't believe in yourself
Believe in the me who believes in you
I hope you all agree that my Bro Yondu and my Sis Nebula were the best part of this movie.
How did Nebula manage to track down Gammorah?
I really liked it, much better than the standard Marvel fare.
only bit that fell flat was the PacMan bit, and I was the only one in my theater that laughed at the Zune.

The ship the Ravagers gave her had Ego's planet programmed into it. It's a really quick line before she gives that speech about her childhood. I remember thinking "That's convenient." Haha. Didn't bother me though, logically it makes sense that they would have the location of Ego's planet since Yondu was delivering Ego's children there for years.
Yeah that pacman scene...yeeesh. No one had the guts to say that's a bad idea?
Surpassed my expectations. And its atleast as good as 1, though it feels like a different kind of movie. Really really liked it.
I let out an audible YES when Fleetwood Mac kicked in on that fight towards the end. So fucking good.
While the first film definitely felt like a James Gunn film through and through, Vol. 2 feels like it is Gunn unleashed and with no restrictions.

Nebula probably had the coordinates of Ego's planet, but it doesn't make sense that she was able to pinpoint exactly where Gammorah was on the planet's surface. It doesn't bother me that much, I'm just curious if there was an in-film explanation of how she did it.
I guess I'm in the minority here, but Ego came off as another bland MCU villain to me. This time in the form of a god with a god complex. I didn't feel there was enough time spent with him to appreciate why he decided that all life essentially needed to be a version of himself. It was just delivered to us as exposition.

I went into this movie really blind, so as soon as he said the name Ego, I got a huge grin on my face.
I can't believe they went with Ego for the second movie and Quills origin. And the watchers? And Adam?
Fuck. Movie was filled with tons of awesome moments.
Also, the Gurren Lagann line. Amazing.
Am I wrong to hope that come Phase 4 we'll get Annihilation Conquest to pay off the teases made by Gunn? Getting Stallone/The OGs/Guardians/Anyone else fighting a full on Galactic menace will be aces.
That CG work they did on Kurt Russell's face at the beginning was fucking crazy.
Just give us Big Trouble in Little China 2 if you can manage that
No way. Much sadder but this was such a non consequential movie.Just watched the movie. Loved it.
I think it's better than GotG 1. It feels better in most ways and by god, did the movie look beautiful.
The scene with Yondu and Stallone was even framed similarly
What? Where?
Nonconsequential is the first movie. It ends in sound and fury but there's no emotion in the conflict. That's not to say that it wasn't fun as hell, but as far as character and impact go this is the stronger movie. No way. Much sadder but this was such a non consequential movie.
