Depending on just how many games will be coming to the program, I think it's more likely they'll put OGBox games in Game Pass.

But if they were to go in GWG, I could see 1 new game every 2 months or so.

You could do that with the OG Xbox system link. I'm sure they'll work out something, but it won't be the old Live.

More likely the result of some kind of rights/legal issue in regards to Poker Smash. Someone jumped the gun or there were multiple rights-holders and some party never signed off on it, etc. If so, the best we can hope for is that they iron out the issue eventually and the title re-appears some time later on.

Doubtful. Anything is possible, but I would imagine Microsoft would have announced that at the unveiling if that was the intention.

Almost certainly not. Are they charging us again for these games or are they letting us use our discs to play them on BC? If we're playing for free using our discs then you can bet there won't be any achievements added. It would add a lot more work and testing to each game, and would further slow down an already slow trickle of titles. I'd rather have more games available than less with achievements, personally.

Your original Xbox discs will work. Digital licenses will carry over. AND you can system-link play across all three generations.

My hope is that they are working on some sort of a solution, which is why I imagine it doesn't launch until later this year rather than almost immediately in the preview program.

No, from what they said it's a new emulation model, likely similar to how they did it with 360 BC to circumvent Nvidia royalties (or perhaps since the GPU is so old nvidia let it go?)
