Nothing wrong with that, especially in the beginning. You want to have adequate movement options from your base to parts of the map as quickly as possible, but apart from that it's fine to leave a lot of it unpainted and focus on getting control of important, central points. This is what will allow you to comfortably paint the rest of your base as the match progresses.
As much as I love this game, no other shooter makes me so angry when I lose. Haha. Especially when the opposing team turns the tables in the last 30 seconds of the match. This certainly isn't a "turn your brain off and have fun" kind of game.
Tower Control should reset the tower to the middle when ownership changes.
You're doomed to play catch up for the rest of the match if you're on the losing side of the first exchange.
And I'd love Splat Zones with three zones. It's a clusterfuck as is.
Port Macquerel used to have two distant ones, and it was far better.splat zones should have more dual zones though. I noticed that moray has two, which is nice, except they're right next to each other which sucks.
Well, it works...Splatoon is designed with crazy comebacks in mind.
rapid blaster is very fun. i like the inkmines a lot actually, you can see where you placed them, they echolocate enemies you splatted, and you can tell when they go off! Huge improvements!
It was, but it's exaggerated now because there are so many people getting caught out by it.It's been a while since I played the first game, but I don't quite remember Tower Control straight up being a Suction Bomb spamfest.
It's back? NOOOOOOOOcan't wait for elitre hell to start up when people get to the appropriate ranks
It's back? NOOOOOOOO
Holy shit it is fucking frustrating how many fucking inbred morons there are who don't understand the point of rainmaker why are you fucking painting our base you idiot.
Sick of every match having an aerospray and grenade spam
so kill the little shit lol

i'm just assuming. i actually haven't seen many weapon varients yet because i'm too low level

Even when the opponent has it, it's sometimes a better idea to build the special and do defense painting than rushing 1 vs 4... Especially when you can win by simply not allowing the opponent to reach the last 10 meters because you did it yourself.Though usually you want to be doing these kind of things different safer times when either the rainmaker shield is still up or your team has it and is safely pushing forward. If the opponent grabs the rainmaker and its going for it, got to drop it all and stop them.

If it's anything like in S1, it has massive range for 1HKOs. You never roll with the Dynamo, just flick it. With sprinklers it was really good in Turf War to quickly paint huge areas and completelt dominate parts of the map with it's long range OHKO. It was also great for TC, wiping everyone close to the tower in one swing.Just unlocked it.
Also can someone tell me why anyone would pick the dynamo roller?
Just unlocked it.

That doesn't solve the issue

It's a beast.
Whew the E-Liter sucks now. Didn't believe people at first but...this is rough.
I'm getting more used to the heavy splatling, but fuck me if the loadout it comes with isn' just the worst. The sprinkler seems to be terrible for everything other than throwing it out at the start near the spawn and getting some early points, and the Sting Ray is both impossible to control and impossible to seen where you're aiming because you're character model takes up the whole screen.
Is there a Spatling later on with better gear, or should I get used to it/pray for a new one in an update?
toss a sprinkler behind foes. bam suddenly they take chip damage or turn around to deal with the sprinkler meaning you can splat them in the face
I'll try that out.

they're kind of like the raincloud, what you're really doing is making an area more unattractive for enemies to fight IN. they're not killing weapons or even area denial most of the time because they're weak and easily destroyable, but they can hamper enemies and give you the edge in a combat situation
Use the springler as bait, when the enemies try to destroy them splat them safely from long range.I'm getting more used to the heavy splatling, but fuck me if the loadout it comes with isn' just the worst. Even though it's a roller it's not a melee weapon, you should use similarly to a splatling, though it's better for surprise attacks, but you should always keep your distance. It comes with mines now.
I dunno, seems really slow, but I'm game to give it a try. Have been rolling with carbon rollers.
Any tips for the Sting Ray? Or am I just completely fucked there? It seems so useless compared to everything else available.
Yeah I agree, though you can still initiate an horizontal flick, then jump to get the horizontal jumping flick. This is how you did it in S1, so it shouldn't be a problem. In fact it may be stronger now due to having another option with the vertical flick, though I don't know how it'll work as there's no way you'll have time to jump and flick before landing with the slow startup. Probably it's had it's shot wideness nerfed like the normal roller.Hopefully it's taken a nerfing with the jump-flick being a thin line of ink now. Still going to be deadly with a standing flick, but it was jump-flicking that gave it such an insane area of OHKO power.
