Splatnet says I've had 0 disconnects in the last 50 matches and I rarely get connection problems. Same experience with MK8 and ARMS. There must be something wrong in the Switch or setup for those of you who say wifi is horrible.
NEVER roll. Just tap shoot, wait a bit for the animation then jump when the ink's about to come out, this way you get an extended range. The vertical flick (jump, then shoot) can be used to quickly paint corridors like those in Port Mackerel or the ramps in Moray Tower. You usually want to be in a high place and make ink rain with the horizontal jumping flick to maximize coverage. So:
*Open spaces->Shoot, then jump
*Corridors->Jump, then shoot
*When to roll->NEVER
Mind your range when facing enemies and always look for elevated spots. Haven't tried it yet in S2, but this was a beast in S1 Turf War.
Don't think so. Highest I got was 29Any news of someone going beyond superfresh weapon rating? Highest I know of is 24 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YFKGsoVbf8
Edit for 25:
I don't think I like Salmon Run. At all.
There's a difference between hectic and horseshit. Your team need buffs to their ink supply or reduce requirements for bombs. This is just stupid.
"How should we split these three level 27s out?"
"What level are the rest?"
"Mid-teens?"
"Put them all on the same team."
The splash damage for Rapid Blasters was buffed to 35 damage anywhere in the blast radius (which is honestly a huge buff, arguably one of the strongest buffs in S2), up from 25 min splash damage in S1. There's also no defense up to mess with Rapids anymore, so Rapids can generally enjoy a reliable/consistent 3HKO with splash damage at slightly longish range, or 2HKO if a direct is included. Ink Mines are also better in S2, and the amount of damage that Mines do combos well with Rapids. It also helps that most other weapons are currently not operating as well as they should, so Rapid is strong relatively.So, uh, what am I missing about the rapid blaster? It still doesn't do great damage, has okayish range, requires a direct hit and has a mediocre fire rate...? It was a trashfire in the first game, but now everyone is using it?
People were enabling the furries with their "no more furries" posts, so it got worse. I'm doing my part and reporting all furry posts.
Something about this SR session is rougher than the last one.
Doesn't help that I started off at 195% pay instead of 240% like where I ended up last time (stingy bastards), but even at supposedly a lower difficulty they're pulling out all the stops. Got a run that was literally round 1 high tide Grillers. And seeing as this time SR is on Spawning Grounds, there's VERY little room to run away from Grillers. Then you just have guys being idiots as usual, like picking up eggs but instead of transporting them back to the basket they sit back and keep killing Salmonid just to run the clock until it's too late.
Spawning Grounds is pretty much unplayable at high tide unfortunately. About half the map is nothing but grated walkways and given how fast the enemies move it means going over there is either death by dropping or death by salmon. So you're just restricted to that tiny-ass piece of real estate that's solid. Compare that to Marooner's Bay which gives you a ton more room to work with during high tide.
I've come to realize that I am a Splatoon god when using dual analog. I tried the motion controls, but sucked. I could never get into it. Well, I switched to dual analog and have been mvp every match since, not to mention on a 9 game winning streak.

Wait what?!I got a bunch of Amiibo to scan in, but I hear that the number of slots the gear has depends on my current level?
Should I wait to scan them or can I scan them in again later?
I just looked up your stats, currently on a 5 game losing streak, and you average about 417p a game.

I thought the game prioritized weapon variety over level when making teams...
4 Flyfish at High Tide.
turn off Switch, cry softly

Negative. This isn't my Nintendo ID
Lol I know. I was just messing around.

Amiibo gear is always 2 star meaning it has 2 slots out of the gate no matter what.
I'm not sure why, but Salmon Run has been a miserable experience for me lately. Got to Profreshional a few days after launch and have been losing ever since. All the way back down to the beginning of part-timer.
It's extra frustrating because when you lose early, you get a minute of gameplay and then back to the loading screens and finding a group all for just a few points and a drop in xp which means even less points next time.
I was getting 600-1000 points without a ton of effort before. Today I had a run of 3 games that got me a total of 22 points.
well my amibo gear has 3 slots, scanned the purpel squid
bruh, what level were you?
well my amibo gear has 3 slots, scanned the purpel squid
I think mine does too actually. I'll check when I get home.well my amibo gear has 3 slots, scanned the purpel squid

try playing in the evening / at night, when there's less kids online!
I'll try that. I'm not dodging all blame btw, I doubt it's all their fault and none of mine. Just odd that I never felt that out of place even on the highest difficulty and now I'm just getting whomped each time.
You're just replacing the bad teammates with harder opponents.
Night time is the time of the Japanese.
Just had a 2v3 match. This game's matchmaking is pathetic.
That has nothing to do with matchmaking. Just players in the lobby having bad connections.
All this good anthro art in the square and y'all are sore af
