Steam Summer Sale 2020: June 25 - July 9

Have not given zero fucks about Steam sale since they got rid of flash sales.
Exactly this. I remember i used to work night shift and i'd hop on and off my phone throughout the shift buying games all through the night. Used to spend a ton, can't remember the last time i bought anything in a summer sale now.

It seems like event currencies have been changed into a generalized currency (Steam points). That's a good change. Too bad the site is getting hammered to the point where it's impossible to explore the new features.

Anyone play any of the illusion games? I'm talking about AI Shoujo, Koikatsua Party, and VR Kanojo. The premise of a game based on sex is interesting but if you can only fuck girls who look like preteens then I'm not interested.

Picked up Doom Eternal and Age of Empires 2 HD so far. I'm sure I'll end up grabbing more.

Anyone else start out with a tone of points? I have over 60,000.

Picked up the Witness, been in the mood for a puzzle game.

These old CoD games are still so expensive, even during a sale. Activision squeezing every last dollar out of them.

Hoping that a few JRPGs I don't have go on sale. Seems like they never do these days.

Specifically hoping for 50-75% off of the above, but I think I'm just setting myself up for disappointment.

Lol congrats on 2 outta 3 being half off

60 for octopath in 2020 seems insane to me

Got my dragon quest builders 2 though 😎

God why, I don't even finish half the games I start and I don't start half the games I buy. It's more of BETTER BUY IT NOW OR ILL REGRET IT WHEN IM INTERESTED WHILE ITS NOT 75% OFF

Ugh, seems like Steam is having a lot of issues with the wishlist at the moment.

IIRC in Ai Shoujo it's got a robust character customization so you can make pretty much any girl you want to bang. You do need to patch it though since Steam ver. is censored.

I like character customization, so I'll check it out. :)

And that's me done! Snapped up:
  • Strange Brigade Deluxe Edition
  • Rogue Warrior (yes the Mickey Rourke one lol)
  • Californium
  • CHUCHEL
  • A Plague Tale: Innocence
  • Outer Wilds
  • Life is Strange: Before the Storm Deluxe Edition
  • Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Winds of Magic
  • Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Back to Ubersreik
  • Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Shadows over Bögenhafen
And got a few animated backgrounds and chat thingies as well. Neat! :messenger_smiling_with_eyes:

See you next year!

Why the hell dont they make games like Starcaft 2. RTS, heavy on the story, cinematic, etc.
Have you checked out Grey Goo btw? One of the last great *new* RTS games that features some really impressive CGI work (for the story bits) and overall polish. Lengthy campaign as well.

2D-Space-Adventure in the spirit of Escape Velocity and SPAZ etc. Great indie devs with zero budget but infinite love and patience for the community. Constant updates and new quests and storylines ^^!

That's my uncensored and disgustingly shameful list of Steam Summer Sale 2020 haul.

Finally, I bought Streets of Rage 4.

The regional price is almost as high as an AAA because of our fucked up economy. Could not pick day one because of this unfortunately. The discount isn't as good as I expected but I care more about SOR4 than most AAA titles anyway.

Grabbed Doom Eternal and Black Mesa so far.

Disappointing that you only get one £5 off token for the first £30 spent. Was hoping it would repeat like the Epic sales.

Meh, Steam prices ain't what they used to be any more.

Will only grab Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition for 3,69 EUR this time. Now that is a great price for a dope game.

Doom Eternal still need to go lower than 20 bucks.

Spent $30 to save $5.

Download speeds are garbage right now. I would have downloaded this game in less then 3 minutes before and 10 minutes later in at 6%.

21k points but I don't see any $5 off coupon to spend them on this time.

Eh i wanted RDR2 but not at that price. Can anyone recommend any quality indie's like hollow knight or Ori? Def not Dead Cells though, i feel that would get repetitive quick.

Had a look for a few point n clicks but nothing is more than 50% off. They're so stingy with discounts these days.
