didnt see Solo. probably won't see any future D films. they aren't good enough to watch on release. if they show up on Saturday morning TV in the 2030s then i'll see them.

What's the deal with Rouge One? seems all over the rankings? also gets some extreme hate. How can it be worse than the prequel trilogy?

I wish i knew. It's one of the worst movies I've seen in a theatre. I know the backstage drama is responsible but the pacing, character work, and editing are bloody awful. It only gets by on the droid and fan service and even then the latter is not handled all that well anyway.

Like the way people feel about the last jedi is how I feel about rogue one.

4-6 on my list get a bad rap.

Revenge of the Sith was enjoyable despite Hayden's acting. Yes the shift from reporting palpating to killing kids was a little abrupt, but still a great movie with some high emotional notes.

Solo had the misfortune of coming out 6 months after the last Jedi. It was actually an enjoyable heist movie set in Star Wars. Yes, no everything in Han's back story needed to be answered in one story, but whatever, it's fine.

The force awakens quality has diminished greatly from the disjointed mess of the last two. It setup a really interesting story against a similar structure of the original that Rian Johnson just shat all over.

7 and below on my list was simply based off of which one was worse than the other. All trash.
 
So everyone is hoping Mace Windu pops up in Mandalorian.. the guys dead, but what if he wasn't? What if Palpy was able to stitch him together post ROTS and he was the big puppet master in the new trilogy instead of Snoke? SLJ hamming it up would've been Incredible.

Didn't like it and felt worse about Star Wars after leaving the theater, but still went to the theater for it day 1 Tier

6. Solo (very surprised by this one, just in the fact I didn't *hate* it, still forgettable and pointless, but it had some moments)
7.Rogue One (this one is really hard to not put in the shit tier, the first 3/4 of the movie are horrific, but the last 1/4 is worth a bump up to this section)

Pure trash and made me hate Star Wars and lose interest in the franchise Tier

I liked it. Made bugger all sense and tonally clashed with all the other movies, but I had a good time sitting through it.

I'm not going to argue against it's obvious flaws, but I'm also not going to pretend it isn't my second favourite.

It's still shit. Vader carnage is the most "I MEMBER THAT" moment. Total cringe. This movie is like Battlefront CGI trailer, it has no reason to exist whatsoever.

That's a damn fine point. I always give the edge to Empire just for feeling gutsier overall but the original is just as timeless, if not moreso.

Terminator Dark Fate has probably killed any future Terminator film for at least the next decade, but that was the cinematic equivalent of a heart attack brought upon by sudden violent diarrhoea, but only after you'd already had a solid month of having the shits anyway.
