NeoGAF made a 180° from a full 360 forum to a Sony one. With just a few dissidents like Adam's Apple. So much that when I, a Kutaragi evangelist, said that the current first party studios line of production presented yesterday was depressing and that the only output that can produce such first party disposition is a far cry from the PS3 era, I was confronted by my fellow Sony lovers.

So I am happily surprised to see the results of this pool. It seems that at the very least there is a silent majority of Sony fans that are critical with how Hulst has been managing SWWS for the last generation and half. You have my respect, GAF.

Well I mean it was just a bunch of fake Chinese/Korean vaporware, the worst most outdated Hero shooter of all time, and MH and Astrobot trailer, so you're really just grading a MH and Astrobot trailer. Lack of VR mode for Astrobot is an instant F, and a desert is the most unappealing location imaginable for a MH game and it looks much slower and jankier than Rise, so that's a D. Overall F-.

Astrobot saved it from being an E, such a disappointment. If this Sony's big E3 replacement, it's pretty piss poor. I know we gamers hate when games are teased way to early. But this generation has been pretty terrible overall. Switch saving gaming.

Finally got to watch it. Nothing new really did much for me aside from Astro. I loved what I played of Marvel Rivals, so, I'm stoked to see Venom, especially so soon. Alien game looks neat though I'll never play it cause VR, that framerate looked roooough. Honestly gave it a C, almost a D.

Both VR Games got me hyped. Astro is easily the best thing PlayStation has going for its first Party and it isn't even close.

Until Dawn was Until Dawn, I thought they would show some of the 3rd person camera gameplay but oh well.
Silent Hill 2 looked better in Konami's showing and looks great in 4k
although that was ruined by the Maria redesign.
Not that redesign is bad but the original is iconic and serves a purpose to James.

Then you haven't been around much and certainly not at launch of GoW Rag. The narrative is the most often criticized and maligned part of the game. Completely shits on the characters and fails to provide anything of value.

Microsoft is in the toilet this generation, this is very true. Sony is right in there with them, so let's not pretend that they have the high ground. Both systems have lost their way.

Astro Bot is amazing and i really hope Sony continues down that path of using their franchise characters in other games outside the main ones, just like Nintendo do.
If you think about the games shown they are ok to good, those soul likes looked really good to me but for an "E3 Season" show it was awful. Long are the days of E3 2016.

Didn't cared about most of the games there, but I got a good laugh at how shockingly bad was Concord's reveal. I really enjoyed Astro Bot's trailer though, this is something I will definitely play and most likely day one. Until Dawn remake gave me mixed feelings as I don't really feel compelled to play it after finishing an original several times, but I think it's a good call they're giving a new audience a chance to play this game and this makes me hopeful we will see a proper sequel down the line. Monster Hunter Wilds looked neat, and Ballad of Antara piqued my interest, but it's apparently a f2p game? It's so confusing

I'm kind of worried for my favorite hobby now. Previously I thought Xbox just drove its own brand into the ground with no games and bad decisions. Now, it seems like Sony is doing the same for PS5. What is the REAL story here? Is it COVID and the impacts of the lockdowns we are only now seeing or is there something else at play? This is a serious question. Is it because everyone is striving for 30 to 40 hour games that nobody wants, when 10 -15 is really the sweet spot? What is it, seriously? I'm truly worried for the industry now, just hoping Nintendo saves it again with Switch 2.

D and only because of MH Wilds, rest was of zero interest for me. I think Wilds will be another big step towards making MH even more casual but fuck it, I'm in.

Could be the trailer's vibe… but SH2 has potential to be the most insulting remake ever made, it almost feels like a parody. Might be fun to get for 5€ in a couple years just for the incredible voice acting.

Astro looks cool but not « spend money » cool.
