Many of the physical hardware related questions I had have been answered and there's still 6 days until release.

- Slim plates do not fit. Disc drive is easy as fuck to attach.

- The power cord is the same figure 8 as the slim (not 3-prong grounded power supply, similar to the PS4 Pro).

- CMOS battery is easily accessible.

I am hoping that someone tests out some of the "select PS4 games" because I want to find out what "Enhanced Image Quality" actually does. It could be related to higher DRS, but the base PS5 already does that.

aside from the shiny plastic in the middle, i really like the design. how its a little thinner around the plade is also a nice touch.

i do however think I am going to cancel my preorder. Just can't justify it when I have a proper PC ( That I am going to sell too as i am upgrading to 9800x 3d and 5090.

Today I was able to get XFX 7800 XT magnatic limited edition for 350$ Canadian ( 250 USD ) barely used ( to hold me till I get the 5090 ). I just cant justify the price of a PS5 with a drive close to 1300 CAD. zero logic to me. however, I do hope everyone who buys it enjoys the system. it looks really nice.
