Don't care about any of these games but I'm sure lots of people do, so that's a good thing.

Microsoft saving PS5 single handed is the biggest news here. Sony in BIG trouble once again. How about some games Sony?
None of these games will sell amazingly well on PS5.

Decently at best.

Ninja Gaiden 4 is a XGS game, and Rise of the Ronin and Stellar Blade are PS Studios games.
Warriors need to shut up about this already.

C.

It shows how mediocre Xbox has become and how they can only rely on nostalgia from the most dedicated fans.

The only reason I didn't give a D is because I somewhat liked the art direction of South of Midnight and Clair Expeditions or whatever it's called.

I love how you try. A for effort!

That said, none of the games really looked like something for me, so based entirely on that, it was mediocre.

Try what? These games are coming to PS5, it's just another 3rd party/Playstation showcase.

"It shows how mediocre Xbox has become and how they can only rely on nostalgia from the most dedicated fans." Two of the games shown are entirely new, one of the games is a PC franchise originally and of the last two, only one is a remake. How is that pandering to the "most dedicated fans"?

I could understand your reasoning if they had shown only Halo, Fable and Forza.

D oom

Don't care about Xbox but Ninja Gaiden surprise announcements were cool. And The Dark Ages is going to be fire.

warriors in here really trying way too hard, you know neither corp actually gives a shit about you right? Just enjoy the games instead of creating all these insane mental gymnastics arguments in an attempt to detract.

It was really good! This is what I want to see from showcases. Games coming soon and not years away and maybe a shadow drop. Great show.

Great show. I'm not a Ninja Gaiden fan, but looks like it is going to be fantastic for those who are.

Firmly in the "wait and see" spot for South of Midnight. Compulsion has a lot to prove and, unfortunately, they have to fight past the SBI stank.

Expedition 33 still looks amazing. That's going to be a day one for me. Look forward to getting Plat on that one.

Doom stole the show though. Every thing about that game looks amazing.

Not personally interested in most of the games, but you can't give less than a B with new doom and ng4, 33 also look good.

If they also showed fable i could have gone with an A.

Ninja Gaiden en Doom were the big titles, which rely on nostalgia predominantly.

The rest wasn't really noteworthy, except maybe that Clair game.

And me talking about Xbox is the same as me talking about EA or Ubisoft.
People need to realize that's how the industry is going to be going forward.

If you don't rate it an A, you're a hater or don't play games at all. That was a great showing, and Game Pass is looking strong this year.
Microsoft showcases a bunch of third party games not developed by their studios = A+

Sony showcase has a bunch of third party games not developed by their studios = worst generation ever

Friday Movie GIF
A Concord revival would have helped.

A. Doom looked great, same with Expeditions. South of Midnight is whatever, not interested. Ninja Gaiden looks amazing. Plus I love seeing the words "Play Anywhere". About time they actually started mentioning it.

Solid B+.

Very informative content on all titles shown, two pleasant surprises, extensive gameplay deep dives, and all release dates announced. The only thing it was missing was just a bit more. I'm not sure how they could do it but I would add a couple of high profile indie or AA to this next time.

That way you could get the AAA, Japanese game, and high profile AA/indie as a big bang to start the year.

How many are day one on PS5? I think the only one which won't be, is South of Midnight which is by Compulsion Games and is an Xbox studio and a new IP. Doom is by ID Software but has always been multiplatform. Sandfall Interactive is 3rd party, as is Platinum Games.

Jesus Christ it won't ever be better than this personally, Ninja Gaiden is so important to me it's an immediate S rank I feel rejuvenated today, no kidding.

We've been waiting for this for so long.
