Veilguard comes to PS+ (all tiers), along with Sonic Colours and TMNT: Cowabunga Collection

Does anyone know if they ever fixed the online net code in the Cowabunga Collection? I heard it was really bad at launch, but I'm hoping they fixed it later.

Can we just end this era of overly colorful rpg corporate slop.

The art direction of every color in the fucking rainbow with no rhyme or reasons needs to be pulled around back and ended already.

I would take the greys and browns of old over what looks like vomit after a simpleton ate a bunch of crayons all over.

I don't care if you like this bullshit damage-spongey action rpg gameplay but can we agree the color and art direction is an eye sore?

gotta admit, even taking all the negative factors into consideration (quality of writing, change in over-all tone, gender nonsense, etc.) i'm still sorta stunned by just how badly this game managed to fail. how in the hell do you manage to rub so many consumers the wrong way?...

all the hate you guys give the game makes me want to play it now.

Nothing screams flop than arriving as sub arrived filler months after launch.

I hope someone posted that tweet from the clown. Go woke go err top of the charts 🤣

yeah all the noise from people, who obviously never played it, makes it difficult to parse any real reactions.
ill bite and dload/check it. seems to have some cool hair tech if nothing else.

Predictably, this thread turned into a pile on for Veilguard. I think this month is a good month, but the other 2 games interest me more and there's so much coming out I can see myself skipping DA:V, but not because of any of the criticism the game got or how much it bombed.

No interest from me in terms of Veilguard. Ninja Turtles, may or may not as I do have some interest in revisiting tournament fighters.

A return to form® subscription services !

Man, what a megaton bomba - remember when just a couple of months ago the experts®/gaming press® tried to convince us of the opposite ? This is exactly why you can't trust these holier than thou hypocritical and attention whoring dipshits.

Also : Avowed is exactly the same, a sub par, soulless, mediocre product that - for some reason® (wink*) - some people are trying to convince others otherwise.

Literally bargain bin material, if it was 15 years ago both of these would have been sitting inside the bins over at Mediamarkt/Media world for 10-15€...

Western AAA gaming is more dead than a festering corpse at this point and they® only have themselves to blame.
Let's not lump everything into same bucket. BG3 was damn good, Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader is great and KCD2 is amazing.

So just mostly NA based companies and Ubisoft.

This game came out like 4 months ago, this is like Concord level of fail. Except with Concord, Sony didn't even bother making it a ps+ title of free to play.

Ugh.....I tried the game with Gamefly and there are a hell of a lot better games out there to play than this. This ain't Dragon Age.
You're only allowed to enjoy games if you pay full price for them and own them forever. Maybe that's what happened.

Veilgard is going to be the first PS+ game I don't add to my library. I think I have added everything else in the past, even if I only play like 5-10% of them.

Veilguard breaks under 1,000 on Steam now late night.

On a side note: Star Wars Outlaws is a handful of people away from breaking under 100. Yes, 100. According to steam charts it hit a low of 118 recently.

Sometime in April after all the PS gamers on sub plan have a chance to download the game, EA will release a statement saying something like............

..... We are pleased to announced Veilguard has hit 6,000,000 players!

Reminds me of some other company. All those people who think number of players is the key to success shall be rejoicing at its success.

This is mind blowing!
yeah, considering we've recently witnessed games like gotham knights & saints row that shared similar 'negative factors'. all i can figure is that ea's actively attempting to recoup as much as they can from the game as soon as they can, & want the ps+ money? who knows: maybe this's the next big thing - simply taking the loss early, & cashing out asap, while the game still has any relevance/value whatsoever left...

& maybe the publishers of the other 2 games, on reflection, wish they'd done the same? i mean, why not, eh? not like these games weren't headed directly for the bargain bin, anyway...
