Hey don’t hate on the right of center version of a “social awareness campaign”. I’m quite happy I was warned how stupid this game was before I blew hard earned money on it. Nobody forced anyone to make the game stupid. Ideologues created that trash fire and ideologues destroyed it. There’s nothing more beautiful in nature.

Its very simple to me. There are a lot of blue haired Trans people people making Dragon Age, apparently, right? So they put themselves into the game. I may not love it, but I understand it.... If I was making my own video game, the main character would probably resemble me...
And I hate From games mainly for their awful combat. but also for their disrespect towards their talented artists and going out of their way to make bad looking games

Ok let's go there. EA NEEDED this game to sell over 3 million units and it didn't reach half that. Those "chuds" don't reach a large enough audience to make that kind of impact. The people who listen to them were never going to buy the game to begin with and steam reviews should have had zero impact on the game not selling on consoles either.
People weren't interested in the game they were selling. Maybe they shouldn't be making a popular game into a niche one or at least understand the audience of the game.

I am extremely happy that reality came crushing upon them. Hopefully it can serve as a lesson to other studios and developers that if their ideology is their top priority then it comes with a risk because people like me are absolutely fed up with it and will ditch a game even if there's just a little wokeness. I am also glad that "chuds" express their feelings instead of keeping quiet. This makes it easier for companies to see what actually is the problem.

The game flopped because it offered nothing new and is another generic ass run of the mill EA game. I paid zero attention to any of the drama surrounding the game.
Im only in this thread to make fun of people who were so upset about certain characters, etc that they felt the need to review bomb the game and send death threats to the writers. THAT is my only issue. i dont care about generic game X flopping

Sometimes a game provides entertainment even when it sucks and you decide not to buy it. Veilguard did just that. Seeing people meme on this game was hilarious.

The game was more than just generic, the gameplay is incredibly hand holdy to the point you couldn't figure out a simple puzzle without the NPC telling you what you need to do. The gameplay was rather braindead/too simplistic.
