I seriously don't like Apple and Mac anymore. I find it more annoying. The dock, the menu bar, X doesn't fully close, the Finder doesn't have all files on the side by default like Windows File Explorer does. Mac is just way harder to use overall. Windows is way easier to use.

"Fun" fact about me and Blackout.

During the Blackout beta me and my roommate were playing on PC and got back to back to back to back 2nd place finishes (we played a ton of PUBG so we were both pretty good at BR games). It was super frustrating because the net code was pretty shit. We get into another match doing really well and we get down to the final 2 squads when right in the middle of the final firefight the fucking server takes a giant shit and once it recovers we just have the game over screen or whatever it said announcing we got 2nd place AGAIN.

I for whatever reason got so goddamn made that I punched my monitor. When I say punch it I mean I like pulled back thumb out and hit the monitor so hard that it put a tiny dent in the wall of our apartment and actually fractured the underside of my desk from the monitor mount being slammed into the bottom. In a split second I had punched the thing and slung my headset across the room and without even looking at it and went immediately into the kitchen to make a sandwich.

My roommate comes out and is like dude wtf just happened and I was like I don't even want to look at it. He goes into my room and comes out cackling because I punched it so hard it had a crater right in the middle and was just completely done.

We went down to Microcenter that evening and I bought a new one. Still the only thing I've ever broken out of rage.

tl;dr Blackout beta made me punch a monitor.

First time ever BLOPS has 2 releases in a row. What happened to the 3 studio dev cycle? Basically the same team made a new COD in 9 months? Guess we back to the old ways.

I've actually never played a futuristic COD so I'm interested to see what this is like
That being said I feel like after hitting the number 5 they should have come up with a new sub-brand instead of Black Ops (and Modern Warfare) over and over

No COD will be great again thanks to that awful matchmaking algorithm, and day one stupid skins. I can't believe how badly the game has deteriorated from Cold War to Black Ops 6.

Current geo politics should make for a decent Blops in 2049
 
Hmm another BO release, not sure how I feel about that. At least its future tech, which should allow for some creative score streaks and weapons.

Not looking forward to the massive sweats running up and down walls though lol.

It better be an actual blackout 2. Not free. To play, you gotta pay. (It cuts down on the multi account cheating horseshit) It better feel like blackout. It was the best BR ever made, and ill stand by that until I'm dead.

Warzone has its moments(had)but it ain't no blackout.
 
The hilarious thing is that this is still coming out on PS4/XBO, 12 years after their first release.
 
Battlefield to the rescue pls. Been playing CoD since the very first installment, but I'm officially tired of CoD. I already had to force myself to play blops6 (had it preordered as usual), but I'm out. Here's hoping the new BF will be as good as the alpha suggests
 
Black Ops: Cold War was awesome. Just stay in the 80s for a few games. Ppl would love it.

BO: Desert Storm was lame.

Reports are that he was working on Blackout 2 and it got canned when Treyarch were forced to take Cold War off Sledgehammer's hands. He did not take this well.

Also Infinity Ward were promoted to the head studio and were given creative direction so they could overrule the other studios when it came to certain elements of the game.

Long story short, the Treyarch that made World at War through Black Ops 4 are long gone. If Vahn wasn't tied to an NDA I'd imagine he would have a few words to say about the manipulative casino matchmaking.

I'm in the minority here as I play COD for that sweet, quick single player campaign and be done with it. It used to be expensive af before but now with gamepass, I think this will be a nice weekend. Install size most likely will be intimidating.
 
Nice franchise but the half a terabyte installs wear mighty thin.

COD: CW was fun.

Never tried a BLOPS.

Infinite Warfare was the only one I truly loved. But then I'm not much of a COD guy generally, nor one for military shooters.

Yeah call of duty campaigns are incredible and I appreciate the linear gameplay, the added celebrities like in black ops 3 (second best black ops game ever)(Chris Meloni as John Taylor) (main villain) and the multiplayer is good enough until prestige 1 or 2.
 
Would be kinda cool if they shifted the campaign away from the typical military shooter to a full-on psychological horror survival fps
 
Infinity Ward must be cooking up something special for Modern Warfare 4 if they need the extra time. That's cool with me. The wall running shit though was dumb in advanced warfare....I really dont want that back. I actually prefer omnimovement.
 
I had some dumb fun with Blops 6, but man, it's just impossible to get excited every time a new one is released. I still can't believe Xbox closed their showcase with that announcement. Anything else would've been more interesting, lol.
