Lmao, I stumbled across this clip of CohhCarnage about to start his sponsorship stream for them and they immediately contacted him to pause/cancel the sponsorship.
I guess it's been THAT bad? I've never seen or heard of anything like this, but I totally get it. Especially if they've already started sponsorships and they were a shitshow for various reasons. I heard one streamer was stuck troubleshooting issues during the entire sponsorship stream, lol. Sounds like a super easy sponsorship for him.

"MindsEye is a dumpster fire, no doubt about it. While it was to be expected given its ridiculous time frame of being announced and being released, this is a game that might've been big if it had gotten a little more time to cook. The story is decent and interesting enough while having a common theme, which is hard to do, and the visuals are good enough to be in that $60 price range. There are a lot of problems that need to be fixed, performance and frame rate issues being the most critical, especially since it crashes regularly during gameplay.
Additionally, the gameplay loop and actual gunplay mechanics need a lot of improvement to become a good contender in the third-person action shooter space. We recommend avoiding it until significant improvements have been made to address the performance issues, and even then, wait for a sale to at least not regret buying this rushed mess."

I hope the BARB guys will redeem themselves through the patch. Hands-on impression ITT thus far seems like that's what it really needs. My impressions will probably be based on the post-patch version.
Not buying the game but my impressions from watching a few streams
- Story seems interesting
- Well animated cutscenes
- Good music
- Horrendous AI and very basic combat
- buttugly characters. I haven't seen a single character I would call pretty
- Driving seems to be pretty good, at least the streamers I watches said that
- Full of bugs and performance issues
- Dialogues are hit or miss but mostly miss
- Story seems interesting

There's plenty of issues on PC, they're just either easily brute forced through or can be minimized through settings.
I digress. Buying this on console is stupid, and I'm not saying that to be glib or mean spirited. One of the major selling points of the game are the user creation tools and user created content and that only exists on PC right now, with no word on when or if it'll be considered for console.
