Do enemies respawn after you revisit an area?
yepI like it so far but find it really strange that I'm wielding medieval weapons in a 1990s war torn country chock full of automatic weapons I can apparently never use. I'm guessing that will be explained somewhere down the road.
Really shouldnt have come in here...
Now Im debating this or Cronos. Fuck you guys.

For real. I keep going in between this thread and the Cronos OT, and I'll probably just end up getting both because everyone is raving about them. Fucking clowns.Really shouldnt have come in here...

I haven't played either yet, but I'm leaning in that direction for sure. Already got Cronos and pretty close to getting this now.the right answer it to buy both
Good luck!!!Alright, got my copy just now.

Really wish the demo had progress carry over to the final game, gonna have to do all that all over again, sigh.

Question:
Once I've maxed out my weapons to level 4 and there's no other weapon left for me to upgrade (at the moment, I'm sure I'll be running into some upgrade stuff with the materials I've picked up).
There's no real reason to engage in combat, other than to upgrade weapons, right? I can just run past the enemies?
You might want to close the time loops, for this you need to kill specific (unmarked) enemies in the level, although you have an item which somewhat can guide you to them.Question:

Ok, I've changed my mind. The Pole Arm is the best weapon. Reach + speed + damage about as good as the sword, where the Axe is weak.
edit:
Some pics from the base PS5 Performance mode.

So I gotta ask, how strong is the FOMO since the game doesn't guide you anywhere? Is there a risk of missing important stuff without the option to go back?

Demo is available on consoles.Yep I finished Atomfall and liked it (not loved it though). It's really a shame that the demo is PC only, I'd love to check it out before making a purchase. I'll keep it on my wishlist and wait for a sale.
Okay, I'll try it on the Xbox. I looked for it on my PS5 yesterday and it wasn't there.Demo is available on consoles.
I tried it on xbox, didn't really gelled with the combat. Either its sloppy or am not getting it. Either ways, decided to hold off based on that.
Game is SO GOOD.
Was able to finally play again for a couple of hours, reached the part early in the third area behind the fallen knight statue (if you know you know).
Awesome game. Mysterious and eerie vibes, cool puzzles, the areas look sick, amazing music, great voice acting (aside from the main character, ironically). No handholding so far hasn't stopped me, only thing I had to look up was the solution to the passcode to the basement because I was getting impatient. It's fun to discover things organically.
It's just a banger. Strong GOTY contender so far.

I'm very interested in this game fellas, but I've been very busy as of late and haven't had much of a chance to check it out. Two crucial questions: Is it a rogue like or lite in any way, and is it a souls like? Thanks guys.
Thanks very much for the reply brother. It sounds very interesting, and very different too, and I commend them for that especially. I'm definitely getting this when I have some time to play.Game has well designed levels (not generated). It's mostly about solving puzzles and finding stuff.
Combat is similar to Souls games and you can upgrade weapons and defenses but game is not as hard as typical Souls game. There are no bosses (+ for me).

Thanks brother, I'll check that out probably tomorrow or the next day, can't wait to dive into this one. Very excited for this game, probably the first game in a while that has me so interested. There was a demo on PS5 and PC but I'm not sure if it's still available.
