"I hope one day somebody brings the guillotine and kills all of you motherf*ers." "We'll see you at your house. We'll mu*der you."

If she had stopped after the first part it probably would have been protected speech. Oops.

No they don't, you only hear about the loud minority.

But you can think whatever you want.

Maybe you also think that every dude that goes into a gym is the same as those dumb infliencers full of steroids and secret tricks you see on yt and not just chill people training and minding their business...

Little spoiler, they are not.

P.s. sorry if i misunderstood your post.

I commented on that phenomenon a couple of days ago. This all started when people started using an umbrella term for all kinds of distinct manifestations of gender diversity and a minority within that group started setting the rules, demanding that regular people had to conform to their wishes. Those weirdos and activists have set back the acceptance of transsexuals among regular people by decades.

So only minority trans activists/extremists that enforce those? ….then I'm fine with the rest.

Problem is that those trans activists have got to the highest level of institutions where the mandate now come from the highest level.

For example when I used to work for a company we were forced to take DEI training where we had to sign off that gender is a social construct, anyone can be any gender they identify with. I refused to sign off the course, so that's why i'm self-employed now

Quality of shows produced by BBC has really gone down the drain in the last 10-15 years... in the 2000's they were still producing bangers like the thick of it.
It's just the way they've been hiring over the years. Vastly under qualified people being hoisted to positions they shouldn't.

Have a look at their 'top earners..', honestly, are any of them worth that sum? Are they even worth a quarter of it?

It shines throughout their output.

As for their news output, Jesus..

It's just become another arm of this wonderful society we seem to be finding ourselves in.

They lost the plot years ago. I can't honestly believe people feel strong armed to pay for it but I guess when you're a despicable organisation that enforces you're payment through terrible practices from people who still feel obliged for god knows what reason, then I guess your vile organisation can continue hanging on by a thread.

At least you can opt out of it no? With my taxes I pay for national tv, regional tv and local tv. And each of these has multiple channels, including expensive satellite broadcasts if you happen to live outside the country and aerial doesn't get there.

No opting out.

You can, and I have. But they never let you forget. You get threatening letters every ten minutes :messenger_tears_of_joy: ng

So you pay your TV through taxes? That's a weird one

What if you never own a TV?

You're paying for it. And it's not cheap neither, national is 1,3 billion, regional is 360 million and local is 20 million. And I forgot the county TV network, that's another 30 million. And that's just the budget, if they go over it guess who pays?

That would be too much, i bet the majority of trans people are chill and not bloody killers.
I highly doubt about that. The whole concept of "trans" is very different from gays and lesbians as it is directly tied to the identity, being part of a cult-like organization/group. It is basically role-playing or subculture with meds involved.

So can we agree this is the line that got him canceled?

"The Maga Gang desperately trying to characterise this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it."

What's factually incorrect about that? Both sides are actively trying to disavow the shooter as one of their own and deflect blame to the other side.

We really do not know with 100% certainty which side of the aisle this guy leaned on at this point in time.
He wasn't cancelled. Disney suspended the show.

Sure, you can argue he is commenting on the discourse, but that is not how he phrased it.

What's factually incorrect about that is he had the gall to accuse other people of doing exactly what he was doing - at the precise moment he was doing it - namely desperately trying to characterise the kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of his own.

What a shameless liar. And what kind of a reaction is that to this horrible incident? Not even Colbert was that crazy. And what's even crazier is that no one on his entire show thought 'maybe let's not say that in the monologue tonight'.

With the sane left apparently so willing to jettison their trash at the moment to try and claw their way back to respectability in the eyes of normal people, maybe they won't fight too hard for the likes of Antifa?

If the far left has captured the left so thoroughly that they are now backed into a position where their platform amounts to defending drug cartels, Antifa and men in women's sports and bathrooms, that doesn't seem like an enviable position electorally.

Other than figuring out how to get on the roof unspotted, it doesn't seem that farfetched to me. He was never going to have massive security around him. This is a guy who let people who absolutely hated him get in speaking range of him. The last thing they were probably worried about was a coward with a long range sniper rifle.

Its not farfetched that it happened. I was trying to get through the killers thought process.

This is all very hypothetical btw: Let's say I hated someone so much that I wanted to see him dead. Maybe the moment I heard this guy would come to my university I could see myself thinking "this could maybe be my chance" and then I would start to plan and think this through. Life is no video game. You have only one chance for this kind of endeavor. And when you set yourself such an idea into your head, you really want to plan this through as thoroughly as possible. But it seems like this guy basically waltzed into unknown territory and succeeded with his plan even though the organizers clearly had home and intelligence advantage.

Call me paranoid, but I am certain that Charlie Kirk must have gotten lots of (death) threats over the years. If I were in his shoes or in the shoes of his team I'd probably ramp up security. You are right, someone might have shot him from close range. But I'd also think about the possible 'coward' who would try this from long range and then escape since such an act would have a much higher escape chance than anything else.
I can't imagine that scouting potential threats and then having like 1-2 drone operators or some more presence from afar would have really ramped up the security costs.

Being gay or trans should not force anyone who want to live a chill life to call out a group of extremists, it doesn't work that way.

It's not normal people job to contain extremist groups, that's the governement job, people have to endure enough crap in their lives without the need of being political warriors just because they like to fuck asses instead of pussies.

Sorry we are never gonna agree on this because it sound like a badly veiled blackmail:

You gay and trans better fix your extremist groups or we are gonna return to dark times when you can't even walk in the streets without being insulted.

This is the government job ffs, normal people should not waste a second of their life addressing extremist groups they were never part of to begin with, especially when these groups are violent and can ruin your life or harass you.

(Sorry for my english)
I couldn't disagree more.

The last thing you want is government intervention.

And we've tried the last 15 years of doing nothing, and look, people are getting assassinated by these radical weirdos.

Needless to say it's time these people step forward and say "hey, we're normal, these freaks who are dressing up as us and pretending to be part of our community are 100% not us and we completely disown their actions".

Do you think the Catholic Church should clean up their acts and stop their priests from molesting kids or just leave it because most priests are chilled?

They spent almost twenty years infiltrating every institution, indoctrinating children, packing courts, pushing ESG, punishing dissidence, cancelling people, shifting the overton window so much your average conservative is afraid to speak up, tried to kill trump, still do not comply with democratic election standards and now are pissed they can't go on national tv and flat out lie to the few remaining members of their cult

Just saw the news on Kimmel. Bout fucking time he becomes irrelevant and forgotten. I haven't been able to stand his douchey ass since the 90s when he was fat and on The Man Show with Carolla.

The author of The Thick Of It later made Succession, co-authored Peep Show, and also wrote Four Lions, a comedy about Muslim terrorists. :messenger_horns:

CK's views were Donald Trump's views.

I don't think that is accurate. I think Kirk said many times that in order to get some of what he wanted out of government Trump was the best choice. Especially when they would confront Kirk on Trump being divorced and a womanizer. There are some things people agreed with and some they didn't, but like all of us. No political candidate is perfect, we pick the one we align with the most.

Trump has some egregious flaws for Christians, but that doesn't mean you can't work with/for him on certain things. Same with Dem candidates.

Ironic move by Disney, considering they've been one of the biggest pushers of the bullshit that brought us to this point.

I don't disagree with it in the least, but it's little more than a CYA move as the pendulum swings back.

Couldn't happen to a nicer or better corporation

Pretty ironic after decades of forcing The Message on America's families that the ones who they pandered to the most are now turning against them

Listen to what they say. They are always speaking the truth and people just assume it's jokes.
Right or left, no one should want the government involved in media/ news/ social.
It's totally fine bro. Secretary of War Marco Rubio, new host of Late Night. Yeahhhhh, this is so normal and not at all fascist.

Lmao, just spoke with my wife and we're cancelling Disney+

High stakes dinner time conversation there over $15 a month.

You can't compare the church with normal people living their lives, normal people are not part of an order, normal gay and lesbians didn't created the lgbt group and are not a part of it.

Sexual preference is not a circle, no matter how much the left want you to believe that.

Should all the straight people in this world survey the street to stop straight rapist or it is the police job?

Willingly self-mutilating your own privates is pretty extreme.
Gender disphoria exist unfortunately, some people genuinely feel like they were born in the wrong body and modern medicine can help, it's not different from women asking for bigger boobs or botox filled mouth, i find that extreme aswell, i'm way more disgusted by women ruining their faces and turning into literal puffed up monster than quiet, chill trans getting their dick chopped off in a private clinic.

Also, not e ery trans does the surgery, and most important, not all trans try to enter the other sex bathroom or tell people to call them with made up pronouns.

You can do something extreme but be chill and not a cunt about it, not all trans are obnoxious show off that ask for more rights than they deserve.

I don't think this is the topic to discuss this tbh, i don't wanna catch a warning from the mods for derailing the topic :lollipop_grinning_sweat:

I saw this on that post..

That was pretty spot on 🧐

There is no other argument.

The problem with the left (more like the wacky left, not the chill moderate left) is that right off the bat you'll get issues. They are unhinged, emotional, prone to an odd combo of violence by the people (big time angry protests, looting, etc..), but also surprisingly lax authority (cops do nothing, easy punishment etc...). Logically, you'd think it'd go hand in hand where serious crime = big punishments, petty crime = low punishments.

The above isnt surprising.

BUT, what made it fester is a combo of social media, mainstream media, hollywood/athletes all piling on with liberal views. It's going to be one part craziness and one part career boosting PR. Doesnt really matter which side it is because the end result is the same...... promoting angry shit like cancel culture, doxxing, kill this guy, kill that guy, smash stores and light cars on fire, Seattle Chop zones etc...

So like any stupidity in life, at some point when it gets too big then someone has to put the hammer down. And as usual, it'll be someone with a more conservative/authoritative role to control the situation. Doesn't matter if it's home life or work or society. The wacko chanting murder and rolling cars over isnt going to be that guy that wants some calm. And neither are any same sided cops or courts or politicians who want the same chaos.

It's just that for whatever reasons XYZ the left got really out of hand for around a decade. And they saw this and amped it up thinking it's forever idiocy with no repercussions. It wasnt this crazy on TV or social media way back. And when I say way back, I dont mean the way back when Archie Bunker was on TV or before the net. But just maybe a decade or so ago it was pretty chill. Especially when all the big social media sites launched in 2000s, it was really fun and friendly back then.

So for whatever reason again, it took to 2024 for people finally say enough, and 2025 has been even a bigger push back. Guys like Jimmy Kimmel ran wild for years. Why did it finally take till 2025? Well, looks like Charlie Kirk was the tipping point. The left tried to keep egging it on, but got to a point the general public and even companies like Nexstar who carry the show even said forget it. This has got to stop.

While I can't stand any of these late night talk show hosts, nothing Kimmel said was wrong.

He claimed the murderer was maga, which isn't correct. And as an added bonus in the biggest moment of irony of my lifetime he claimed maga people are trying claim he isn't maga to score political points, right before trying to score political points by laughing at Trump answering "wrong" to a question about Charlie.
