Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Announced

Until you see their Vault Edition skins and you know Acti plans on selling crazy skins with every new season

They will for sure still do wild skins, but I don't see anything crazy in the vault edition, it's literally just 2 BO2 operators in exoskeletons, the robot from BO2/4, and the robot from BO3; all of the viral marketing for the game has featured robots and future tech.

It looks like I'll be getting this via gamepass. Normally I get them all on ps. this one seems like it's half assed, I'll,play thought it for a bit and then go through BF on ps5 pro.

Black Ops 7 Multiplayer Deep Dive

The November 14 launch of Call of Duty®: Black Ops 7 is getting closer every day, and we're here to cover all the latest news in the weeks leading to release and beyond.

Call of Duty: NEXT and the Black Ops Beta

Get an extended look at Black Ops 7 during the worldwide Multiplayer reveal at Call of Duty: NEXT on Tuesday, September 30. Following that, try Black Ops 7 for yourself and earn special rewards when the Beta begins on all platforms starting Thursday, October 2! For all the details, check out the end of this blog.

Onto the intel. This is Black Ops 7 Multiplayer.

The Game Modes

New Mode: Overload: In Overload, squads clash over one device that must be carried into enemy territory to score. Momentum swings sharply as the device changes hands, making every pickup, player escort, and interception a pivotal moment in this all-new 6v6 mode.
Other Announced Modes: Black Ops 7 Multiplayer delivers a full slate of fan favorites at Beta and launch, from Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Search & Destroy to Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, Gunfight, Control, and more.

New Mode: Overload (Available at Beta)

Bring the Overload Device to the enemy zones to overload them.
Fight for possession of the Overload Device in this new push and pull 6v6 respawn mode that challenges teams to overload the enemy's control zones. Only one device spawns on the map at a time, so get in there and grab it before the other side can. The team in charge of the device must protect the carrier as they run toward one of two designated zones near the enemy team's starting spawn. Disrupt one of the zones in time to score a point and spawn a new device in the field.

The position of the Overload Device is always indicated on the HUD and Tac-Map, so be prepared for an intense tug of war as the device changes hands often throughout the match. Any player holding the item benefits from a personal radar to help detect nearby enemies attempting to steal it away. At halftime, teams switch sides. Stick together, get to the device, and overload the enemy.

Skirmish

For larger scale Multiplayer battles, nothing beats a good Skirmish. In addition to the 16 core maps launching with Black Ops 7, players can look forward to two 20v20, objective-focused maps dropping teams into expansive environments with enhanced means of traversal including wingsuits, grappling hooks, and vehicles all assisting you and your squad get to the next objective with time to spare, and dominate the other team.

Much more about weapons, loadouts and maps on the blog:

Surprisingly good. Looks like Black Ops 4 remastered, which is right up my alley.

But with the matchmaking I won't be touching it. I have no intention of playing against people just as good as me with those double jump mechanics on top of the existing mountain of bullshit.

Pretty much. I probably pick it up, but no matter how good the game is the matchmaking completely ruins the experience for me.

Sorry, but this deserves its own thread. I came to post the trailer on neogaf because I didn't see it. needs more exposure for people to talk about their opinions on that trailer.

Also. whats with the wall hack scope ? is this their way of dealing with hackers ? Everyone can see enemies behind walls ? cmon now

Doesn't seem like gaf cares much about cod and this is just an extension of the announcement.
the sniper rifle that can see through walls is a scorestreak as detailed in the blog post.

Ah ok. I didnt read the blog. was just watching the trailer and a wtf moment happened.

and people do care about call of duty. i have been buying one since COD4 on PS3. but this doesn't seems all that to be honest. not when BF6 is just couple of weeks and looks and plays much better.

But still. worth its own thread. people are just thinking this is just random people talking about stuff. Dont think they know about the trailer.

MP looks...Ok

Not what I was expecting tbh.
It looks fine.

It'll look like complete garbage once everybody is sprinting around like bottom feeders with their dumbass skins like the smooth brains that they are (they can say they are taking feedback about skins all they want but all they care about is money and the retarded skins WILL return just like every single COD looks normal for like 2 weeks until the weed skins show up).

If this definitely wasn't going to have a major problem with hackers I would buy it... as of right now im skipping. I might give in closer to launch i dunno. I just can't handle all the cheaters anymore.
