That's what I love about these games, Tsushima didn't have fancy graphics either but the artstyle makes up for it.

Geenerally the games launch at midnight local time. So this should've launched last night as when October 1st officially hit. That's when all other Sony titles do or games in general.

Yeah he died like 5 times and gave up on lethal. Playing on hard now and doing well since then. He was still learning the basics, like what the button is to heal or dodge, so I think he got too impatient. Could have just figured it out after a few more tries.
