I was getting turned off by the combat gameplay videos, the new game looks far too much like the previous game. I'm going to wait and see. Perhaps it will be possible to pick up this game much, much cheaper down the line. I'm not in a hurry anymore.

I felt the same way about Spider-Man 2 and I was able to get to buy a Japanese download key for 10 euro or so. I wasn't going to pay more for it, hopefully GoY will share the same fate. Don't want to support woke Sony with a full-price purchase.

Enjoyed the first game, and played the MP mode a bunch with mates.

My friends (3) cancelled their pre-orders and I don't have plans to buy the game (I was going to see how it was after release) or support Sucker Punch anymore.

Plenty of other games to play in my backlog.

You know this is not it.

Just in case you didn't: what are the chances for managers and studio directors with extreme political opinions to hire people who dont share their same values? We both know the answer. Remember: this Drew girl claims to "punch nazis" and by nazis she means every conservative. It's basic common sense to presume that she doesn't hire or work alongside any of the "nazis" or else the atmosphere in the studio would be unbearable.

I can't remember any dev working at Sony expressing anything other than progressive propaganda. Not a single one of them. They hire trans activists, they work with SBi... all that decision-making leans heavily to the left.

10 or 20 are the ones who make the more noise in social media, but it's easy to figure out that those studios are a political hivemind and by extension, a creative hivemind too. If everyone thinks the same and has the same ideas, it´s impossible they come up with something fresh or innovative.

Just look at the state of the cinema industry. Absolute talent drain, just like in videogames.
You're leaning way too much into the conspiracy realm. Sure, you could assume that this person wouldn't probably hire anyone with opposing views to her extreme beliefs with how evidently politically-charged her profile is, but it's ultimately irrelevant to the conversation when she was absolutely not in any position to hire expertise.
The latter part of your post is definitely head-scratching, mostly because it is literally not true. In the specific case of Sucker Punch, though? They have never worked with SBI, nor they have ever pushed trans activism on anything.

Totally missed the Killjoy ban until right now.

Now Gaffers can freely state Sony's GAAS strategy has been meh without his automatic response that GT7, MLB, H2 and Destiny are on fire and carrying the torch to victory.

Seems the guy won't be missed by damn near anyone

I would like to say I am rejecting the game on moral grounds - the hideous behavior of the devs - but I wasn't all that interested before, so I doubt I would've bought it anyway. So I selected "not interested," even though the SP dev behavior disgusts me. It would've caused me to walk away, but I was already headed in that direction. Best I can do to express my displeasure is retroactively not play GoT. I bought it but never played it. They got my $30 but won't get my time.

If Derrick Henry scores a TD then I win $100 on Prize Picks. Then I'll keep a look out at GameStop for a used copy.

So hopefully it'll seem "free" to me with no money going to Sucker Punch.

This game might be the most sought after used copy game ever.

I LOVED the 1st game but I'm tired of financially supporting people that would rejoice at my death

Without a public apology from Sony/Sucker Punch canning the devs at issue I'm OUT

My backlog is years long especially with all the "free" ps+ titles I can EASILY play those titles for years

LOL.

I'm not an NFL follower, except playoff time I do bets. I'll reactivate my betting account with some money when NBA and NHL seasons start. For you degenerate gamblers (LOL), parlaying Josh Giddy as a 15-7-7 pts/reb/ast is practically a guaranteed win. And if he misses it, just do it again next game and he'll come through and cover your loss last game.

I hope betting sites dont trash his odds this year doing that bet.

"You can tell a lot about a person by how they react when someone dies." - Charlie Kirk, 2016

Openly celebrating the murder of this man isn't nice nor is it acceptable decorum as an agent of a major company. Sure, I can get behind that.

But sharing THIS QUOTE from THIS GUY (and seeing celebratory reactions from members I respect) is beyond ridiculous and reeks of selective, polarizing politics GAF complains about with other forums.

Please no replies. Getting back to my regularly scheduled programming lecturing the likes of adamsapple that GamePass sucks, Xbox is dead, and Phil Spencer touches himself at night.

First I was going to get it down the line at a discount. Then, the dev's comments turned me off it. Now that they've fired that scumbag, gonna get it again but maybe even sooner, probably depending on the cringe level of the protagonist.

You should also cancel PS+. It is under the same supportive conglomerate.

Already looked like yet another lazy sequel from a sony dev that did so much more last gen. It looks like a cross gen game, this coming from a dev that made the most out of the ps4 both early and late in its life. Pretty clear this game is gonna be woke as fuck too. That plus current events? Not a chance.

Edit: wasn't sure what to vote for, not interested or for current event reasons. I guess I'll go with not interested because I was already giving the game a hard pass.

Can you add an option:
Already played a huge 100hr japanese samurai/ninja (ACShadows) game this year and dont need to invest any time in another one.

Once they put the fugly in, it was strike 1. After the fugly started talking the usual rhetoric, it was strike 2. Strike 3 was when Suckerpunch fired that dev and didn't disavow their comments. I'm not buying the game and I'm done with Suckerpunch's output going forward. Seems to be a trend with Playstation's studios lately.

Maybe later, if the game ends up getting alot of praise from players. Right now i would rather replay the 1st game or buy Rise of the Ronin that i still havent played. From all the media i saw, thers nothing from Yotei that looks more interesting than what was in Tsushima. Combat and animations looks worse, main character to fill an agenda, generic revenge plot, reusing assets from Tsushima after 5+ years of development. Many other samurai themed games came out since Tsushima. I have zero interest to spend any money on this one. So unless the game receive alot of praise from players and i find it dirty cheap during a promo, i most likelly will never play this one

I wasn't interested to begin with. I played and finished GoT and while I liked it, I had enough of it when the credits rolled. Yotei just looks more of the same. Not going to make the same mistake like with Horizon where I ended up slogging my way through.

There is no need ti sequel everything. Especially those long ass games.

The first game was ok. The second is barely on my radar. I'll play it in a few years maybe when it's cheap. No need for me to be buying this day one, my backlog remains absurd.

I'll buy it once it goes on sale and as long as there's no LGBT focus.

Might end up waiting for the PC release so my brother can play it with Steam family sharing.

I still have the DLC from the first game to finish. Got burnt out but I'll return to it soon enough. I did enjoy the main game for the most part except for it's too close to the sun Ubisoft style repetitiveness.

I voted no for current reasons.

A single dev has been sacked for comments but the issue is these companies and Sony and all the others have allowed this kind of mentality and drivel to build , fester and create an environment for these mindsets to grow and thrive unchallenged.

100% these companies are filled with these kinds of people and I refuse to support it in anyway now.
