I was getting turned off by the combat gameplay videos, the new game looks far too much like the previous game. I'm going to wait and see. Perhaps it will be possible to pick up this game much, much cheaper down the line. I'm not in a hurry anymore.

I felt the same way about Spider-Man 2 and I was able to get to buy a Japanese download key for 10 euro or so. I wasn't going to pay more for it, hopefully GoY will share the same fate. Don't want to support woke Sony with a full-price purchase.

Enjoyed the first game, and played the MP mode a bunch with mates.

My friends (3) cancelled their pre-orders and I don't have plans to buy the game (I was going to see how it was after release) or support Sucker Punch anymore.

Plenty of other games to play in my backlog.

You know this is not it.

Just in case you didn't: what are the chances for managers and studio directors with extreme political opinions to hire people who dont share their same values? We both know the answer. Remember: this Drew girl claims to "punch nazis" and by nazis she means every conservative. It's basic common sense to presume that she doesn't hire or work alongside any of the "nazis" or else the atmosphere in the studio would be unbearable.

I can't remember any dev working at Sony expressing anything other than progressive propaganda. Not a single one of them. They hire trans activists, they work with SBi... all that decision-making leans heavily to the left.

10 or 20 are the ones who make the more noise in social media, but it's easy to figure out that those studios are a political hivemind and by extension, a creative hivemind too. If everyone thinks the same and has the same ideas, it´s impossible they come up with something fresh or innovative.

Just look at the state of the cinema industry. Absolute talent drain, just like in videogames.
You're leaning way too much into the conspiracy realm. Sure, you could assume that this person wouldn't probably hire anyone with opposing views to her extreme beliefs with how evidently politically-charged her profile is, but it's ultimately irrelevant to the conversation when she was absolutely not in any position to hire expertise.
The latter part of your post is definitely head-scratching, mostly because it is literally not true. In the specific case of Sucker Punch, though? They have never worked with SBI, nor they have ever pushed trans activism on anything.
