The game itself is a bit better than everyone thinks.

I had decided to skip but ended up buying after my bro got interested.

They did enough motions when the shit went down that I was okay with it.

I still think they killed a lot of hype for the game by picking that main character/VA, but the actual game part of all this is solid. I think if they had announced it was an AI voice it would have left me less deflated, but que sera, sera. Game itself is good so far.

My only complaint(so far) is the "drawing" on the little dual sense mousepad is not a minigame and isn't fun to anyone and seems to be used a lot, but that's really a nitpick.

Good summary. This is pretty much how I feel.

That main character is…. Fine…. But it's just polygons made to look like a women. There is absolutely nothing about the development of her character that is feminine at all. (Which i think is a missed opportunity). It's just a very boring guy

I don't doubt that Yotei will sell more. But I'm definitely looking forward to Ninja Gaiden more than Yotei. It's a dream game. Yotei is much less interesting to me, would've been all over it if we had Jin though.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Yotei underperformed either. But the budget seems to be modest for a Sony AAA game, so we'll see. Tsushima had legs, not sure about this one.
