Monitoring the situation in Iran

These people cheering must really enjoy not having freedoms.

Amazing how a religion can brainwash humans so hard. The fear of inevitable death and the thought of eternal existence in some sort of paradise is a powerful drug.
I think that's how religion originally started. All the kings and priests made up fairy tale stories of gods and devils and shit to to calm the masses. While those elites stay rich, pig out and control the city, the peons who are easily influenced will believe anything. And when youre kept poor, you kind of got no choice to ride it out anyway..... unless they can overthrown the tyrant.

In countries with religion being unpopular or richer people, religion has little effect as they are smarter and can be self sufficent with good jobs

More like control the masses by calming them while also convincing them there's a big brother watching them all the time, so better not conspire against the god-chosen king when you are alone.

But yes, that's my theory as well.

This is simply not true. Precisely, in "atheist countries" we have a plethora of crazy ideologies that have taken over the role of traditional religions. Feminism, gender insane theories, transhumanism, etc. All those are religions. Atheism itself is a religion. Faith and inteligence work in different lengthwaves. The so-called "secular" leftist refuse to acknowledge the Iranian massacre just because of their extremist ideology and this is happening in "richer and smarter countries". Precisely, the richer a country is, the more insane it becomes, because BOREDOM is the root of all evil, as the old sages said.

Come on now, don't be silly.

An atheist simply doesn't believe in god because of lack of convincing evidence. Simple as that. It doesn't have anything to do with being a "part of something" or a member of a cult or whatever nonsense.

It's like saying not believing in Santa or the Big Foot is a religion.

It's also annoying how atheism has become an integral part of the left. I am an atheist and i can assure you, i'm not a leftist. I don't believe in god because of my own logic, not because of politics.

Left-wing retards will be triggered by this just like they were triggered by Venezuelans celebrating the end of Maduro.

Maybe they remembered when Rubio tried to prime them for democracy a few years back. We come in and free them like Captain America, then want to run the place (oil fields) ourselves. Awkwaaard.

He also has Maduro captured and disarmed, from where he can be forced to testify that Dominion Voting Systems helped Democrats steal the 2020 election.

We didn't capture Maduro to help people, but it sure is nice window dressing.

This is so sad for the world we live in when you know protests only happens when they get paid.
Leftist protests are also typically motivated by the identity of the perceived 'perpetrator' (Jews, cops, President Trump etc.) rather than any actual concern for the 'victim' in a given scenario.

This is a tricky scenario to navigate, because as much as some on the left instinctively want to go through the mental gymnastics to blame President Trump for a crackdown by the Iranian regime, it is a stretch to begin with, and those who pull the strings are thinking it through to the point where any eventual US strike may be joined by Israel. The left does not want to get itself into a position where it is mass protesting in alignment with / in support of Israeli strikes.

Better to wait and see if the chicken noises etc. can provoke a strike to happen, and then when a US / Israeli strike inevitably kills some civilians, they can mass protest against President Trump and Israel for that instead. This is a much easier sell for the foot soldiers than a protest against an Islamic regime.

So, the fat orange cunt didnt see a way to make a quick buck for himself and so hanged the protesters out to dry.

This is what America is in 2026.

It appears to me they may be positioning forces, acting coy meanwhile. Earlier they were moving two ships from the South China Sea which I surmised would take two days if they hurried, and I felt disheartened at the dialog as time passed.

Now we know a carrier is still en route.

Now that doesn't mean anything is happening to help people. I expect some angle to benefit Trump personally, to play into his greater plans somehow. Minimally as a win or distraction from something else.

Watch carefully. Trump will make sure there is war when we were supposed to be voting.

Religion evolved in to that. It didn't start as just an ulterior means of control, and even the ones who used it that way back then would have believed in it themselves

It's all well and good to believe you would have been one of the intelligent ones in an era where our modern understanding of science didn't even exist,

Well to be faiir there is "atheism" and there "being atheistic". There are a lot of militant atheists whose only purpose is to tell everybody how those who believe into anything are stupid. Rabid denial of anything is - in essense - a cult. A lot of atheists are closer to agnostics than to atheists though.

Kinda. There is a reason why the first "rulers" were all mostly priests. Like basically somebody discovered some water vein, proclaimed that the god Enki or whatever is living there and that's why the water is clean and endless. Then due to be the first to discover it, they became leaders and such. I don't think that the politics have changed over thousand of years. You still got the warlords who later overthrew the priests, then could not keep the water vein clean due to not knowing something and then the priests would cry about the gods abandoning them and people rebelling etc.

The USS Abraham Lincoln was seen crossing the Malacca Strait, moving from the South China Sea toward the Arabian Sea. Escorted by destroyers USS Michael Murphy and USS Stethem, and reportedly joined by a submarine, the fleet is expected to reach striking range of Iran within 5 to 7 days.
