Wii U Spotted At CES

Iwata has him tied to a chair, slapping him shouting japanese at him.

"困難にしてみてください。ハーダーをしてみてください。!!!"

Oooh, he promises the WiiU will actually BE there, and major "new reveal"... D:

lol, thanks google translate.

I'm excited about the interview and I don't know why. I'm fairly certain the interview won't give us anything significant. What I'm most curious to see is if the reactions in this thread are as hilarious as the ones in the Microsoft thread last night.

I'm interested to see if it gets as awkward as their E3 interview.

#1 Lightweight
you have to realize that this thing is light, the tablet itself doesnt have much processing power, the screen is rendered on the console then beamed to the device. Cheap materials are light (plastics/non glass screen)

#2 Contoured
the rear is contoured and has enough thickness that its easy to one hand. in comparison to a thin and heavy tablet.

The Wii U is too big for Iwata's jacket

but not for Reggie's

Nothing is too big for Iwata's jacket.

He invites you, smiling, to take a peek inside.

It has been three days and still I fall through shadow. I have met and overcome the 3DS, the DS, the GB Micro, and other things, older things, embedded in darkness like gemstones sleeping in the cold stone, waiting to be pried out by greedy fingers and displayed upon a burning dais before the steaming sweating masses. There is a shimmering below, like the light on a moonlit pool. It seems to be growing lar

I'm guessing he will be showing off something if he has the console on hand.

I'm hoping it's the Tokyo Driving Tech Demo and not something we have seen before.

Some of their (commercials for) shows sound as if they came straight from some parody show. Also I kinda doubt we'll get any real news regarding Wii U.

Like that one where you can get your hair back through the advances of medical science?

That'd be nice, I wan't to see it.

Really the only legitimate complaint about the Wii U controller is the use of slide pads over analog sticks. The thing loses no core functionality outside of that change, so at worst we have a normal controller with a screen that has some basic UI info on it while we play on our TV and some gimpy (but totally usable) analog pads.

Yup. Slide pads are far and away my #1 problem with this controller. I really hope they fix that garbage at E3.

You found the source of the Wii U Anti-Life equation but it requires a 12th-Level Intellect to escape the puzzle of the Source

EmCeeGramr post if you're okay

"when we come back" probably means at the end of the hour. They know what the audience is tuning in for and it's not RC helicopters or tiny hd cameras.
