Javik is fantastic, I brought him almost to all missions.
"During my cycle...."
Same here. I'm so glad I took him and Liarra (although she may have been mandatory) on the Thessia mission.

To be fair to the guy, it is a pretty good imitation as far as mimicry goes. Plus he has the additional challenge of trying to emulate a voice someone else has created, rather than developing it himself.
You see one of the characters from Overlord during the Grissom Academy mission, and the other is with the Cerberus defectors, yeah. Nothing major, just catching up.
Kasumi's mission is neat, I suppose, but nothing mind-blowing. You get to attend a cocktail party, fancy dress and everything, but there isn't anything that stands out to me at least. Not that I remember. I never started a new game to bring her along, so she might have some good lines during the story mission.

My Shepard was just too masculine for Steve to even consider hitting on. I didn't even see an option to date Steveorini neither did I want one. He was best as a friend. The game did try to be funny when I invited Vega to talk about his problems, and he made a little homoerotic comment. I quickly nipped that in the bud though. Shepard is meant to be with Liara and you can see that in the focus of the game. Anything else is non cannon. You can keep it platonic just by sayingafter it's developed far enough. Survived for me anyway."I prefer women"
Welcome freshmeat. We have a choice if a red, green, or blue pill.My god this was the worst ending ever to a game. Even worse that Bioshock's ending.

Best example would be Mordin's singing.
Javik is the best of the bunch.
Kasumi is practically invisible in ME2, has a brief cameo in ME3. Her mission in ME2 is a little bit unique, and pretty good overall. She is actually a very good squadmate.
Overlord affects Grissom Academy as well, in a very minor way, depending on what you do in Overlord. Not sure about the Geth server mission. Probably some slight dialogue difference if you didn't do it, although I doubt any of your actions would change what is said if you did it.

What happened to the old Mordin voice actor anyway?

I would like to know this as well. Did he not sign for another game or something?

Wasn't asked to reprise his role, despite going on record months before recording was finished as saying he'd love to come back for ME3.
Why Bioware didn't ask will likely forever be a mystery, but if I had to guess it would be that he managed to piss off the wrong person.

I think he was too busy with doing VO for SWOTR
I did Liarra in ME1 and then Miranda in ME2. When I ran into Miranda on the Citadel in this game and gave her the Heisman I actually felt bad...she cried. I remembered all of those e-mails that Shadow Broker had on her from the dating service. She was really lonely and actually fell hard for Shep.
My next playthrough I'm going to go with her, not like it matters, everyone dies or ends up on a jungle planet anyway.
I never led Miranda on in my last ME2 and ME3 play through. I kept it professional the whole time. Her story was kind of sad in ME3, but I ended up helping her and her sister. I never saw the dating service thing.I did Liarra in ME1 and then Miranda in ME2. When I ran into Miranda on the Citadel in this game and gave her the Heisman I actually felt bad...she cried. Okay, so I finished the game with the best survival ending just now. Shepard awakening in London is bullshit. The part you shoot collapses around you in random pieces of concrete-looking junk and steel. The noises you hear in the survival cut scene are just random spooky space noises. My interpretation is that Shepard is simply awakening under the rubble of the shot-apart power conduit she or he broke to start the ending.
Mordin is one of my all time favourite characters, I actually cried when shep pulled the trigger :'(
is there a renagade way too save him? I'm hoping this play through I just made all the wrong options
But he gets caught in the first explosion (completely englufs him) and then, if you pay attention, the entire area he was at blows up too (in a gigantic explosion) so there wouldn't be any citadel to wake up on, unless he somehow got flung into the arms.
Garrus points out the similarities of Atheme and her posse to Protheans as well.hm... brought EDI along for Thessia this time (already did the Prothean stuff in a previous run). She seems to make a few comments. I don't recall Ashley or the others making any comments at the temple.
You never see the Citadel blow up. There's the engulfed in flames part, but nothing is explicitly blown to pieces. Same with the platform inside: the conduit you shoot breaks and falls on top of you, but the whole place does not disintegrate.
Yeah, I think the problems being so obvious makes it so much worse. Up until that floating platform, ME3 was delivering everything I wanted. I loved the cameos, I loved the closure of series long story arcs, I loved the missions themselves, and I loved the character banter. It was doing enough, consistently, to keep me very satisfied. All they had to do was live up to promises and not fuck the ending and the trilogy would have left me completely satisfied.Same. What bugs me the most is how obvious some of the mistakes seem to be. How easy it is to come up with less disappointing endings, even if you fix it with a hacksaw, as Bioware did with so many things.
Killing Wrex or Mordin crosses over from "Renegade" to proof you are a real life dirtbag.
Did you torture small animals as a child as well. I BET YOU DID
And poor Tali, she couldn't resist my Shep from day one.

See, I never got the Tali thing. I guess it's the mask, I don't know. I never even considered her.

Virginal exotic space muslim. She's the next big nerd fantasy next to busty all female blue space lesbian.See, I never got the Tali thing. I guess it's the mask, I don't know. I never even considered her.
Given how minor Mordin's role was in the game anyway, I find it odd that they'd go out of their way not to hire him again. Weird.Actually some fans emailed him about this and he responded, he loved the character and was absolutely ready to continue to role, but for whatever reason Bioware never contacted him.
edit: beaten
Wrex is bad, but Mordin's is even worse.
He crawls on the ground ffs.
It was painful to watch.
He's already dead in my super Renegade playthrough though, same with Wrex.
Yes, look @ 20:30 in this video:

The citadel is blowing up
She has a lot of character development over the course of the three games. I touched on this in an earlier post but basically goes from a running teenager on her pilgrimage in the first game to an admiral in the last game, lots of growing up. Her mission in 2 was pretty good as well with her trial/daddy issues.
Also I think a lot of people like the accent.
Liara really got more...endowed in this game didn't she?Virginal exotic space muslim. She's the next big nerd fantasy next to busty all female blue space lesbian.

Not completely satisfied, but satisfied, yeah. Despite ME2 not contributing much, it gave us Mordin. Should have stayed apprehensive about the whole thing because of ME2 and it not actually continuing the story, but they got me again with ME3. And then they cap it off with that.Yeah, I think the problems being so obvious makes it so much worse. Up until that floating platform, ME3 was delivering everything I wanted. The only explicit plothole I see is that the game gives no reason for the Reapers/catalyst to want to preserve organic life, but you can kinda deduce it. You guys shure like to overreact.
It wasn't an arbitrary 180, he clearly had some regret for his second genophage and will even snap if you bring this up to him at the time for it to be cured. I think the rationalizing he did in 2 was more to convince HIMSELF than convincing others.Wrex attacked shep! it was self defence, Also it kind of bugged me that mordin did a 180 in ME3 he did a terrible thing for the right reasons, the genophage had to stay it was in the best interest of the galaxy...of cause had i of known in the end everyone would be screwed over/killed/stuck on a jungle planet I probably need not of bothered![]()
And the fact that my squad mates who were with me on the final charge are somehow on the Normandy, light years away, crash land and don't have a single scratch on them despite crashing and being blown up by a Reaper and managed to do all of this in a span of 10 minutes?

Illusive Man can suddenly control Anderson. That isn't what I'd consider a major plot-hole.
