Easy for us to say.If Collins is really fucked, I hope he doesn't force himself back. He's a young dude and gots 50 or so years left. No need fucking that up for 1 more try. He got a ring, played more seasons than most can say.
What did he go and say now?Buckethead said:Darren Sharper can go fuck himself.
Jim Nantz and Phil Simms are the Madden 13 broadcast crew?
Interesting.

Hello Friends
I wonder who's getting cut or restructured. Ovie's making something like $3-4 million this year. The Atlanta Falcons acquired Philadelphia Eagles Pro-Bowl cornerback Asante Samuel for a late-round pick, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Wednesday.
As part of the deal, Samuel restructured his contract, agreeing to a three-year, $18.5 million contract with the Falcons. Samuels' contract with the Eagles had called for him to earn $9.9 million in 2012 and $11.4 million in 2013.
What did he go and say now?

I like the deal. Chris Owens is such a massive liability in the nickel spot, and Dominique Franks hasn't shown much staying power there, either. Feel much more comfortable with putting Asante, Robinson, and Grimes out as a trio. Plus the coverage helps our (meager) pass rush.
Grimes will play inside on nickel packages. He's the quickest of the three.I'm liking it as well. Heard some people calling to put Dunta in the nickel spot (not sure how that would turn out), but as you said, it should only help out our pass rush.
I'll feel sad for Ovie if/when he gets cut. He's done well for us, but we do need some additional flexibility with the cap now, and it doesn't look like he'll fit in the new system.
Saying the Packers are dumping Collins in his prime like they did with him.
Egotism and shittalking to the max.
Don't let them trick you again, friendo.Interesting. QB Dropbacks coincide with route concepts in Madden this year.

Glad to have Asante out of the East. He can't tackle for shit and can be beat deep but he was excellent at generating turnovers and he gave Eli fits at times.

I won't give Madden a second look unless they're working beyond a 1 year development schedule.New development team, led by a former MLB: The Show guy has me intrigued.
We don't need him to tackle, we have linebackers for that.

He's got likely 5 years (pretty much his first contract) to learn an offense and perform in his prime.I really don't understand the obsession about Weeden's age.
Like he would make sense to the Browns, literally nobody in that organization is going to be around 5 years from now if they keep being the same old Cleveland Browns.
Not saying he's worth a first round pick or whatever, just the fact that he's 28 is kind of irrelevant.
another new Mock for discussion
Drivers on the Ole Miss campus will have to take their foot off the gas pedals thanks to one Elisha Nelson Manning.
The two-time Super Bowl MVP was honored by his alma mater this weekend when the speed limit on a road near the school's football stadium was changed to 10 mph, a nod to Manning's jersey number.
At least Manning gets respect in his college town. As he joked to an audience in Oxford, he's not getting it in New York.
"[The Giants] just won a championship yet I'm still the third most-talked-about quarterback in my own city," he said.
23. DET - Doug Martin RB
I'm flipping tables if that happens
You must have missed this: http://www.freep.com/article/201204...mikel-leshoure-arrest-marijuana-detroit-lionsWhy would they do this? Kevin Smith, Leshoure, and Best is a great group of running backs. Best will more than likely stay healthy this year if they play those guys equally.
If anything draft on your O-line for more run blocking and make sure Stafford doesn't get blown up
Where is everybody primary channel for the draft? Is there going to be a chat for the draft?
Weren't the Steelers first in total defense last year while the Packers were dead last?Madden will be dogshit until they, like the Steelers, fix the defense.
even next year Manning won't get respect what with the Jets drafting Barkley and all.
edit: during offseasons Manning should be a volunteer sheriff's deputy or something and patrol the speed trap.

Kuechly's the best LB ever
edit: isn't Weeden 29 at the start of the season though?
