Is Fencing a big thing in Italy, or do you just have 3 of the best female Fencers around?
We have a great tradition and all the best fencing athletes are given a job and nurtured in police forces.
These 3 are all policewomen.

So is it only the stuff airing on normal NBC that's delayed? The descriptions for CNBC and MSNBC claim to be live. I'm watching fencing right now, pretty damn awesome.

That's exactly it. I'm not complaining about our current crop of athletes, they're superhuman compared to me.
It's a problem with GB's society at large. We just don't really support our young sportsmen/women compared to places like the US where a high school game can sell out stadiums.
The density of the Olympics doesn't suit commercial broadcast.So the better question is how can NBC reinvent coverage of Olympic games in other timezones? Obviously this model is not doing them any favors if they lose money on each games.
