You are not the only one. I think it's an issue with Flash. the nbc stream eventually brings my firefox to a standstill unless I periodically close out the browser and re-open.

I thought i was the only one. It only runs well for 10-15 minutes and then it crashes. Jesus christ, fuck off NBC.

Nobody cares except NBC. The current record holder is some no name gymnast. It's a function of team and event compatibility. No one is going to consider him greater then say Usain Bolt. Give Bolt a 50m dash and sprint medley/freestyle and hell probably win that too

Yeah this is true. Unfair to people whose talent only allows them to compete in one event. But hey more medals = better athlete!

Arrived 90 mins early for the boxing today and about 10 seconds after walking into the Excel centre we got accosted by a wonderful Australian gentleman who gave us 4 free tickets to walk straight into the fencing finals which were fantastic! Brilliant experience

Also, to pass my opinion on the opening ceremony last night, absolutely loved it. Couldn't have asked for more. Forging of the rings and lighting of the cauldron were particular highlights.
