It's weird. Maybe some part of my inner child died? I used to watch everything the past 2 Olympics. This year also I didn't watch a single second of the Tour de France for the first time in years :( I think it's my new job's fault.
Well, I know my inner child for sports died when I tore my ACL all those years ago in High School football. Just lost interest. I just realized I should give competitive sports another shot and what do you know, the Olympics come up!

If you've watched so much I'd say you're probably a bit burned on it or something Clemenx, or maybe it is your job. Give it some time and tune back in again as maybe the mood will be better.

I LOVE the Olympics... we all get the chance to find a sport we're not used to watching and getting excited with the results while learning them too. It's brilliant.

So far I have found a new love in the following sports just by watching the Olympics...

Cycling
Archery
Weightlifting

The BBC sport app on the ps3 has been great, has all the streams and don't need to watch on a smaller screen.

I've also been watching an unhealthy amount of beach volleyball.

I must say that Olympic level Saber is a billion times more interesting to watch than I thought it would be after my impression of Sabre from fencing club in college. Back then it was almost always over in like 3 seconds with no interesting movement or parrying.

Its was like that earlier during the quarters. But the parries in this match are crazy.

no kidding. I didn't even know what was going on but he came across as a prick. I don't think fencing is my thing. Its so fast a lot of the time I don't know what happened until the slo-mo replay

lol @ him jumping the barrier, then while hugging his girl he scores another two times with the beeps

Meh ESPN is showing soccer and basketball. :/ I don't watch the Olympics for this crap.

This. i like the sports are there but we don't see handball, swimming, archery as much as we see them, i understand they're important events but i'd rather see something out of the usual.

GB v Canada vollyeball women neck and neck :O the crowd!
