Just because you can doesn't mean you will. They've been having a ton of buffering, skipping, and PC-freezing issues that they will blame on your terrible computer. Also, if it is a big event that they'll replay in prime time, you can't watch the replay online; it's live or nothing.

I don't suggest opening more than two even if your computer is kind of newish, but the experience is not that bad honestly. The mobile app has been great to me though. Almost no issues that the browser version suffers from except that they do cut to commercials before and during timeouts.

I was really sad to have the BBC player be so shitty to me with constant need for buffering after hearing how great it was yesterday.

As usual, NBC doing a horrible job. I didn't see the Gymnastics event that's currently on NBC live today, what are we watching? NBC isn't saying. Is it still qualifying stuff?

They've been saying the whole time and multiple times that they are all qualifying and only two can move on for the team event...

When did you try it? It became unusually jittery for me during the Swimming events, but otherwise it's been great.

During swimming. Unwatchable it was so bad and falling behind fast. Ill definitely give it another shot tomorrow though now that I know I wasn't alone. It sucks that the expat program stops me from streaming NBC stuff at the same time, but luckly the mobile app + tablet has me covered.

One of the swimming relays had so much traffic that I ended up going from the 3rd leg, then it froze and hopped back to the beginning of the 2nd leg and then froze again and hopped back to the beginning of the 2nd leg again, then the app crashed. Other than that, it has been solid.

The French just outclassed us. I don't think Phelps swimming anchor would have made a difference, given we would have been farther back in the middle of the race with Lochte swimming the second or third leg.

Phelps swimming achor wouldn't have made any difference if Lochte did the same shit job he did swimming second or third. I think you missed the point. Lochte was SUPPOSED to swim faster than he did. Everyone else on the team did a great job and basically outperformed. The french definitely outperformed what they were supposed to do don't get me wrong but Lochte was the one that drug us down.

There using Silverlight or Flash this time around?

It's going through Youtube for me. I think we may be talking about different things. I'm currently browsing through and I'm able to get the full shit. 4 hours of Judo, the full QF/SF/F of W Archery, among many other things I haven't seen yet. I had to confirm through my cable provider.

I missed Weiber not getting in earlier and lord. Watching them interview the girl that got in while Weiber is RIGHT behind her is terrible.

That's how it normally works. The main exceptions are things like swimming and gymnastics, being the things they'll show in prime time. They'll let you watch those live online, but if you miss it, you have to watch their TV telecast (and all associated ads).

Ahh okay I see what you're saying. So I can't watch those events live from the website? Hmm. Oh well.

Stay classy, NBC.

Who decided to frame that shot like that? Brutal.

Look, they put a lot of pre-Olympics prep time into building up Weiber's story. They have to take that shot to cut their loss, hoping to contrast that with the team competition when Weiber's amazing vault* secures the gold for U.S.A.

*Will happen first in the second rotation, but thanks to TV editing, will come last of all.

Edit: No, you can watch them live online as they happen, you just can't watch the replay until after the TV airing.

Wow...............

Javelin thrower Leryn Franco
Leryn Franco of Paraguay will be competing in the Javelin competition in London but will no doubt be getting some extra media attention as one of the hottest Olympians on the field.

Raisman had the high score on the team. She definitely deserves to be there. Plus she's pretty hot with her hair down in publicity shots. She was stiff as heck in that interview though.

Wow Jordan Weiber can't be in a good state of mind for quite some time. Wouldn't surprise me if she stumbles in the team competition that allows China or Russia to win the team competition.
