This is amazing, but some archers were shooting whilst on galloping horses. Why cant they recreate a sport based on horseback archery? I would love to see someone mastering that with similar accuracy; would be incomprehensible almost

I've been pondering what to take off to maximise my chances of seeing Brits medal. I'm thinking Friday, Monday, Tuesday is a good combo, with possibly a few half-days for the rowing finals.

Yeah, they are not playing at their usual level, especially Zhang. But it's enough to win today.

Lttp, was on hols and just watched the opening with my kids last night. Liked mr bean and James bond, and loved the cauldron lighting. The way all the nations have a little part of the Olympic flame, the way that the old guard of athletes we remember for their acheivements literally handed over the torch to the new generation was really moving, and the cauldron forming was beautiful.
Also loving 24 HD channels from the BBC, with every event being covered in HD live.

Suetsuna/Maeda lost, but they put up a good fight. It seemed like the shuttles kept falling apart quickly and it was bothering them, the referee kept getting annoyed when they asked if it could be changed. Oh well, hopefully they can win their 3rd match and move on!

just realized that NBC and RCN put up 4 extra Olympics-only channels in addition to what they're showing on Bravo, CNBC, MSNBC, NBC and NBCSports.

I may not like their primetime strategy, but I'm greatly enjoying their mobile and web strategy. It's not the BBC Player, but the quality is far better at HD resolution, which is good enough for me.
