Uncanny valley: FAILED!!!
Because tight outfits.
And the whole... "holy shit, how do they even do that with their arms?" moments.
GB medal guide for tomorrow:
Kayak (K1) - Semi final and then final. Decent shot at a medal. - 1.30pm and 3.15pm

Men's Road Cycling TT - Odds on for Gold w/ Wiggins - 2.15pm
Men's 3m Syncro Diving - Not much of a chance - 3pm
Men's Ind All-Around Gymnastics - Decent chance of a Bronze - 4.30pm
Women's Pair Rowing - V Good chance at Gold - 10.10am
Women's Quad Sculls Rowing - Decent chance at a medal - 10.20am
Men's 8 Rowing - Probably a GB gold - 10.30am
Also some swimming but the heats are on the same day so we'll see.
We should get at least 2 golds tomorrow. Possibility of 4 or 5 golds if lucky.
They used watches to keep score.I don't watch tennis much but why does the game scoring go 15->30->40 ?
And the drama, gymnastics always bring big drama since a lot of athletes are young girls. But seriously, it's one of those discipline that require so much skill and training and you can fail at any moment.
long way off

...it doesn't matter that much...Gotta love first page. Illustrating that ranking by gold is equally as stupid as ranking by total medals. Kazakhstan with 2 total medals (both gold) apparently has been more successful that Japan with 11 medals.
Anyways.
Super hyped for the Woman's Gymnastics final.

Foil is strange to watch because there's such a limited area to score points compared to the other two forms. So they dance around a lot.
Looking forward to women's saber though.
Why is gymnastics that big of a deal
It's always been done by golds, not sure what you're so bitter about. What is your perfect system then?
You're an hour late?
Gold- 3 pts
Silver- 2 pts
Bronze- 1 pts

I totally agree. It's still strange that the United States of all countries uses the medal count to rank the nations. A country that has a "winner takes all" mentality like no one else.Illustrating that ranking by gold is equally as stupid as ranking by total medals.

Gotta love the salty Americans, it's the official IOC table, why so salty? And you shouldn't really care, it's not that important.
What a final point!
Except that's far from perfect but ok.
