Not sure how I feel about this. I mean, she lip syncs, how can such performances be considered the most professional thing you've seen all year? Or am I thinking of different performances?

BoA Explains Lip Syncing on Comeback Stage

On July 29, BoA had a comeback stage on SBS “Inkigayo.” She performed the title song “Only One” and “The Shadow” from her 7th regular album “Only One.” However, excited fans ready to welcome BoA with open arms were soon disappointed to find out that she was lip syncing throughout her performances.

BoA explained in an interview recently, “I have prepared lip syncing and live-singing performances of ‘Only One’ to emphasize both my vocals and choreography.” Therefore, her come back stages were scheduled to be lip-synced as a way of showing more refined choreography and performances. BoA added, “When you dance, your body is not stable and therefore, you cannot sing live perfectly. In these two versions of performances I have prepared, I am going to focus on one thing at a time.”

In her SBS “Inkigayo” comeback stage, BoA presented a splendid stage with unique, leading-edge lyrical hip hop choreography and powerful couple’s dance stage with SHINee‘s Taemin. After BoA’s explanation for her lip-synced comeback stage, fans and netizens expressed great anticipations for BoA’s promotional cycle for “Only One” and both performance-focused and vocal-focused stages of the song.

So basically, since it was a 'comeback' and not a regular performance, she wanted to show people the choreography instead of her voice. Soon we'll get "live Only One".

She did a routine that would've fit on So You Think You Can Dance (made by that show's most famous choreographers) -- if she wants to perform it as is it's physically impossible to sing. So she went with doing a dance performance to her new single, and will do a scaled back routine with live vocals later.

Whatever floats you boat. As far as I am concerned, she is a singer first and foremost, and I think the thought of a lip synced performance being called the most professional performance of the year ridiculous.

BoA is the QUEEN of KPOP she will do as she pleases and you will deal.

She got her own show for her comeback none of the other girls could ever have a comeback as important and exciting. She dances circles around everyone in the industry. She is not a singer she is an entertainer. There is a difference. She isn't gonna do some hop scotch choreography like every female in the game is doing right now. No one cares she lipped because she slayed the choreo and thats all that matters. Korea couldn't care less about the Olympics. The Queen has returned.

I think it's just the fact that KKS says something and then a witness comes forward and says it isn't true.

Another example is when he said they filed police reports but then the police came out and said there isn't 1 report related to CCM or T-ara.

Well that's understandable, since it's from officials who can verify. These other people finally coming out with more to the story are the fishy ones. Just wish Hwayoung opened up about it all, but it looks like KKS has his grip on her pretty damn tight.

Edit: Not saying KKS and CCM's stories don't sound bogus too, but too much back and forth.

T-ara‘s Eunjung broke her silence for the first time since the Hwayoung controversy began.

On July 30th, the singer took to her fan café and wrote, “Thank you so much.. and I’m sorry.”

Her few words seem directed towards her fans, to whom she is apologetic that the controversy caused disappointment and shock, however, also grateful that a lot of them are still standing by her side.

Well, when you have various industry insiders giving support to Hwayoung, and the major fan support who have ties (the owners of the fan cafe kicking out anti-hwayoung members and making it to a pro-hwayoung cafe) completely turning against them, it kinds destroys all credibility KKS has. Especially since his company has trouble with girl group bullying in the past (Seeya, 5Dolls). I just don't see them recovering from this, since it really is a perfect storm, with the bullying epidemic hitting the northern asian pacific rim countries really hard.

Even though, I still rate this is the second most interesting music drama incident this month, Jackson family topped this easily.

That's because they oppose the bullying. We have no concrete evidence about everything that has happened to Hwayoung. We have convincing images and videos, but we need official word on this. Like I said, wish Hwayoung opened up about it because no doubt she was bullied. As to what's true (that's been said so far) is what the majority of us wants to know. Like that Netizen group demanding the truth. They know there's more to uncover and that's what's more important right now.
 
It's been long overdue but I'm going to stan Kahi oppar and give up on other female soloists except for E.via and IU. E.via has one more chance but if she pulls another Viagra on me, she's done, son. Just done.
I gave up on Dambi, Tasha, Gilme, G.na and I don't even stan BoA like that. Nana will be my next Kween if she can get a bit more powerful with her vocals. Eyeline is still my shit.

Plus, Roly Poly is so shitty and spawned evil almost every CCM related song I hear now. GangAhjumma's songs Lovey Dovey and MAMA had hints of it.

What do you mean by powerful vocals? I'm interpreting this as both voice and lyrics. I think one thing I love about Nana is her strong yet soft pitch. There's other girls with more powerful voices, but something is so nice and sweet about her voice that it just draws you in.

There's nothing wrong with her voice, in Eyeline I was hoping for the song to get more energetic but it pretty much had the same tone throughout. Not saying it was a bad thing, I would just love her even more if she could belt out a little in the future. For now, she's on the back burner.

Well S.Tiger did plagiarize so that's not even an opinion but a fact.
Regarding 4minute, he sampled the saxophone sound from somewhere else as well as another group so even though it was legal, Volume Up and another song sound very similar.

Roly Poly is shit, but to each his own.

I mixed up Lovey Dovey and Honey Honey which is pretty much the same thing regardless.

MAMA is/was a good song but still has traces of Lovey Dovey hunting it. Just listen to it and sing the Lovey Dovey chorus, you'll get it in time.

So funny... Roly Poly a few weeks ago was the only audible T-Ara's song for me. Today I can't stop listening Day by Day and Bo Peep. Downloading the rest of the stuff...

I really don't care if anyone committed bullying or not (it will be hard to explain, so I won't) but this is bad because once you've done it, you ruined the "clue" that ties the group together. How can they live peacefully and do their great performance/singing with so much trouble inside the group? THEY DON'T. That's why it sucks.

I don't even know Kristen Stewart and don't give a crap if she cheated on Pattinson. So I don't give a crap either if Hyomin was bitch or Jiyeon bad-mouthed someone. They will suffer the natural consequences of it. People will get away from them, etc etc etc.

The problem is, they will no longer be T-Ara, and THAT'S what sucks.

This is all speculation on my part; I think people are assuming the rest of T-ara is laughing at Hwayoung, not with her. Hwayoungs reaction doesn't look like someone who is butthurt, rather someone who is actually taking the other members actions to heart. That would imply that it's not the first time they've gone after Hwayoung.
