For a country used to producing NBA talent, there really isn't much on this roster. Valanciunas and Kleiza, who both play for the Raptors, are the only two players on their team currently under contract in the NBA

Raptors rookie Jonas Valanciunas has only played 33 minutes through three games for Lithuania in the Olympics.

According to NBA.com Kleiza started a total of 3 games last year.

Just woke up and heard the news about Canada finally winning a gold in trampoline!

Congrats Rosannagh MacLennan

Hurrah! Finally!

"She is the champ of the tramp"

uhh...don't know if that's a good thing to say there Vic Rauter...

We're amazing at cycling. Can we apply some of the concepts of training or development or whatever to other sports to maybe be as good in them in a few Olympics' time? Or is it more to do with our cyclists being so talented?

Epic fight back by Italy to take it to a fifth set in the volleyball. Need to watch the entire match on iplayer later. All about the track cycling now.

The only thing I can say about Tenas horrendous tactics is that at the very least he was stupid enough to save his subs so that we could have fresh legs for ET.

Nah its the training regimes, plus the attitude of the coaches on focusing the guys and gals on that gold is the most important.

I really hate how you can't watch every sport, but it's so interesting seeing who watches what sport. i can't stand soccer, but love tennis. Been keeping up with the weightlifting as well.

Kleiza is an NBA starter, he was just hurt last year. Valanciunas was the 5th pick in last years draft, many think he'll be a star. And they have other players that could play in the NBA but they're either under contract in Europe or get paid more there then they would here like Jasikevicius.

Lithuania is a very good team in the international game (which is different from the NBA game), it wasn't just an embarrassing performance by the US this is how the games have been going between them for almost a decade. If they played with NBA rules (further 3 point line and rules that allow more isolation 1 on 1 play) US would have a bigger advantage.
