I was thinking about this a few days ago, but you would NEVER see video games at the Olympics. It just doesn't require any significant amount of physical exertion.

This is correct.

Unless someone convinces the IOC that games involving motion control is right for the Olympics, but really, I would disagree with that, sorta. International competitions like EVO or competitions like GSL, NASL, etc. are fine the way they are.
