How can they be robbed with the match not over?

The match doesn't need to be over to realise that decision was game changing. 10 minutes from the final whistle. Now the ascendency is with the USA. If the Canadians go out, it'll be that decision which will be looked at. I said it before, if the score was still 3-2 I honestly couldn't have seen the USA come back.

I need a drink.

Canada committed 15 fouls, but USA suffered 12?

Silke Spiegelburg is having a total mental break down :( she was just shown crying and screamng "So eine scheiße, immer 4. das kann nicht wahr sein." ('Bullshit, always 4th, this cant be true/happening ')

poor girl :(

for those who missed it

not handball

I only saw 1 replay that wasn't in slow motion.. didn't the ball then hit the next Canadian defender's (to her right in the photo) arm as well? The initial handball is a tough call -- any time it happens in the penalty box, a ref is going to hedge towards calling it.

where are NBC's priorities.... you have this crazy soccer game on, and on their main Channel they want to show the horse event...which is delayed on top of that.

All the NBC horror stories make me appreciate the BBC even more. Coverage has been superb, and analysts Michael Johnson and Ian Thorpe have also been great.

Both players were turning away from the ball, and and their arms were at their sides, and the ball hit their arms. Seemed unfair. *shrugs*
