Is this Near stuff supposed to be vague and confusing or am I just dense tonight?
Seems kind of creepy how close it pinpoints my location.

How do you guys have Near set up?
I might be a little biased, having felt like I waited 12 years for it, but I'd definitely recommend it. It's easily the best Tekken, and I'd argue it's the best traditional 3D fighting game on the market right now. It'll still be awesome when you get money, though, so don't sweat not grabbing it right away.I wouldn't worry about it. Off-topic, but how is TTT2? I really want to grab it but I barely have enough money.
It's seriously magical. I don't like going online with fighters because I don't have a wired connection, but maybe eventually I will figure out how to stop myself from playing Ghost Mode to check out the netcode...lol.TTT2 is pretty much everything I ever hoped a console Tekken would and could be.
Minus the hoard of teams online taking cheap characters and pairing them up with their twins. Eddy/Tiger/Christie? Just beat me senseless with a 2x4 please.
Yes, you can spend the PSN $ on PS3 or Vita or PSP software. They are not points but dollars.
Sure!
1. Create this path in the root directory of the external storage device that you will be connecting to the PS3: PS3 -> EXPORT -> PSV.
2. Place the PSV file in this directory.
3. Connect the device to the PS3 and go to Memory Card Utility under GAME. Scroll to the top and you should see your device.
4. Connect your PSP to the PS3 and make sure the USB connection is active on the PSP.
5. Navigate to your external storage device and you should see your PSV files which show up as proper PS1 memory card saves. Copy them to a virtual memory card on the PS3. You will have to create one if you haven't already.
6. Navigate to the virtual memory card you copied the save to. Highlight the desired save file and hit Triangle, then choose "Copy". Copy it to the PSP, which should be near the icon for your external storage device.
7. You will be asked if you want to convert the save before copying, choose yes. Remember which virtual memory card you copied it to.
8. After it is done copying (this may take a while if you have a lot of saves on your PSP memory stick), disconnect the PSP and connect it to your computer. Remember the memory card you copied it to. The name of the game is key in finding the VMP. For example, let's say I copied it to a virtual card created for "Silent Hill". On the PSP memory stick, navigate to PSP -> SAVEDATA.
Now go to gamefaqs.com and look up "Silent Hill". Click on the "Release Data" link. The product ID is the folder name. The US version of Silent Hill's product ID is SLUS-00707. So find a folder named SLUS00707 in the SAVEDATA folder. You will see two VMP files. SCEVMC0.VMP and SCEVMC1.VMP. If you copied to the first memory card slot, your save file will be in SCEVMC0.VMP.
9. Copy this file to your computer. You're going to need to put it in your computer's Vita saves directory, and connect the PS Vita. Refer to your Content Manager settings. The path should be: PS Vita -> PSAVEDATA. On your Vita, you will need to have a PS1 game save copied. In the PSAVEDATA folder look for a folder which has the letters SLUS at the beginning. These are US PS1 save folders. Refer to Gamefaqs for product codes of different regions.
Copy your VMP save to this folder. If you have saves you don't want overwritten in this folder, rename your save to SCEVMC1.VMP if you saved in the first slot.
10. Back on your Vita, select the PC -> PS Vita option and your Playstation save should be there!
I'll proofread this later, I need to upload this save for him now.
I died laughing at this. GOOBLE GOBBLE GOOBLE GOBBLE. Also, I would like a Dynasty Warriors Gundam game on Vita but... it'll never happyShould I just get that Vita DW game? I heard it's good, if you're into the DW games.
MY VITA ARRIVED!!!!
DW Next is a pretty solid Dynasty Warriors game. If you can find it for around $25 or so, I'd say go for it.Should I just get that Vita DW game? I heard it's good, if you're into the DW games.
I didn't need to hear this because now I want it more. ;_; The only thing I really don't like are the stages without walls with the, like, revolving ground. I get sorta sick watching it.TTT2 things
Congrats!MY VITA ARRIVED!!!!

I'm considering LittleBigPlanet Vita as my first game.
Yeah, the weird parallax thing makes a comeback in a few stages. It looks natural in some but in others it's so hilariously fake-looking and would understandably make some people queasy. I don't think it's as big a problem when you're actually fighting, though. The stages are plentiful (over 23 at the moment) and varied (they all have at least one unique thing about them that you'll always look forward to). I mean it! Speaking of stage gimmicks, if you enjoy tech porn like breakable walls, floors, balconies, or seeing deforming snow or reflections in water, or having characters get wet or dirty, that's all in this game, too. Even the cloth/hair sim is way better than before.I didn't need to hear this because now I want it more. ;_; The only thing I really don't like are the stages without walls with the, like, revolving ground. Is there a Vita LBP bundle yet? It honestly should be a Nintendo-style pack-in like Wii Sports from here on out. It'd show off the Vita's unique functionality (likely doing a much better job than Welcome Park) while also potentially bolstering the community with more user-created levels. It would be a wise choice.
Seriously LBP is like the perfect portable game. It syncs stuff with the previous titles, content is divided into bite sized levels. Infinite more user created levels. It's like a devkit with this cute little them and British voice overs!!!
Also looking into get the MGS HD Collection, Person 4 Golden, and AC3L. Currently Borrowing Uncharted from a friend.

tee hee, I need to call my local gamestop and see if they have them in the store. It's been forever since I gone to a gamestop lol.I'm so excited to pop LBP in tonight! This got me even more hyped haha
oh yeadon't forget gravity rush
Talking about LBP is banned because I have to wait for my copy to come. I talked it over with the mods and they agree that until I get my copy, no one is allowed to talk about how good the game is. Don't bother looking into the legitimacy of this statement. Do I look like a guy who would lie?

Can you access your subscriptions on the Vita Youtube App?
I don't see it....

I noticed that a few of Vita's fall exclusives don't have their OTs claimed yet. Of note:
Ragnarok Odyssey (Bukana relinquished it)
Assassin's Creed: Liberation
Call of Duty: Blacks Ops Declassified (SHOCKING NEWS)

I'm not familiar enough with CoD or AC to do either, and while I could do Rags I'm not so certain I want to.
It's not helping at all and making the wait worse. You're now my least favorite GAFfer, branny.Yeah, the weird parallax thing makes a comeback in a few stages. I'm sorry. This probably isn't helping.![]()
They're not samples, but I can direct you to the wikia page which has youtube links to the songs? Is there a place i can listen to 1minute samples of each song in pdf? im on the line about buying it
I can't confirm nor deny that, but I'd assume you'd have to buy from your own region.LBP will have an online pass which means i'll have to buy from my own region right? Can anyone confirm?
handheld games with online passes, it's a bizarre reality we live in
I was afraid my copy of Hot Shots(which came in today) wouldn't have the slip inside, but it did. Thanks again, Gamefly. :3
Loving remote play and ICO. Two cropped camshots for your viewing pleasure. iPhone 4s quality.
Didn't realize that remote play for ico/SOTC was already up. Is there a link with step by step instructions to get this to work?
Wait, I have to stay connected to the PS3?
What Vita titles can we look forward to after the onslaught of games in October and November? The only game I can think of at the moment is Soul Sacrifice. :/
Edit: Confirmed US releases, that is.
