You don't need to open them in new browsers, just click the little plus icon below someones avatar. Even if you go to the next page of posts, it saves the quote in your log. You can keep clicking the plus icons on different avatars to link quotes together in one quote reply

I won't use the term 'harsh'. I just think that Edge reviewers has their own set of criteria that could be slightly unconventional compared to other mainstream outlets.

I'm still waiting for Sterling's review. I have a feeling he will deduct points based on narrative device emphasis over gameplay. He is a pull no punches type of guy.

Said it before, I'll say it again - TLoU will make The Walking Dead look like Kindergarten Cop by comparison.
I think that Mama Robotik post was harsh, People have kneejerk reaction on the forum.
Im pretty sure if any popular game on gaf with a huge fanbase like HL3 or Nintendo games will get a surprisingly score and the review content is different compared to what we read from other users impression, its bound for some people to not take the review seriously.
Imo two things people wont see -
1 - Some users had played the game just when reviews started to appear since game was leaked early.
2 - Uncharted 3 haters were dismissing all other reviews apart from EG when even they didnt play the game

We're now trying to downplay Edge? The same Edge people were hoping on trashing the game to cause a meltdown and come out with a 10? I swear people aren't going to be happy until this game gets another 8 type situation.
I remember the fan reaction people had when Twilight Princess didn't score 10 out of 10s. It was just as alarming as Uncharted 3. People have expectations, deal with it.gif.

I think you misunderstand my intentions, believe me I'm rolling my eyes at the people seemingly only here "for the meltdowns" just as hard as the rest of you, but I really don't put much stock in Edge's opinion these days. That's all I wanted to say.
Mama Robotnik always comes off as self-righteous with his posts but he's as much of a fan as any of us. I'd rather be WTF over reviews even if it makes me look foolish because at least it's an honest reaction.

I tend to agree with most of Sterling's reviews. From not playing this game yet it looks like something that most gamers will really enjoy, Sterling included. I can easily seem him dropping a 9/10 or 10/10. But maybe there are some flaws that haven't come out about the game thus far.
