PS4 price and launch details are finalised now. They're in the E3 draft script. So unless there is a last minute change at the press conference tomorrow (unlikely in my opinion), expect to see that clarified.

And with that, I need to really go now and get ready for work. See you folks later.

Yeah, maybe this has always been going on to a degree, but the way we're seeing it here just feels rather shady and disrespectful. The likelihood that they'll be successful with people who either don't know any better or don't see the downsides to this is even more worrisome.

But I have a hard time seeing this being as successful outside of the US. And maybe MS doesn't care about that.

This seems to imply they have some DRM policy then. Not unexpected. If it's largely the same as it is now on the PS3, then I don't think I'll have a problem with it. Though some companies trying to pull Xbox One type DRM through the PS4 leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

As for cboat, sounds like Microsoft will be showin a lot of games that they will make seem as if they are exclusive, but in reality they're not. Dead rising 3 must be amazing btw, next gen maybe mix any items haha that would be insane.

You made a mistake, and should change 'ps4' to 'xbox one', because this post could spread 'FUD' if people don't read the original Blow tweet about the Xbox one.

Interesting. Well, we will see what they come up with then. I'm expecting November for the month in any case, though I'll have to be fast on preordering if I want to get one.

Dead rising 3 actually coming to e3? Lol. I was trying to pick a random game I haven't heard of in a while when I guessed in the last thread. Not left 4 dead 3, so picked Dead Rising 3. ha ha.

edit: oops. posted in the wrong thread. never mind. The other thread is worth just reading from the bench.

This might sound silly, but does anyone know if there's an iPad friendly stream? Not sure I'll have access to a pc tomorrow and I don't want to miss it :(

Perhaps I should clarify. The game on ps4, from my understanding of it, is already beyond 5gbs and is expected to use even more ram. Therefore debunking the ps4 only has 5gb rumor. Better?

The official PlayStation USTREAM may be accessible. Same goes for GameTrailers. Are you able to watch either on the iPad?

It sounded like he said Dead Rising 3 is an exclusive for Xbone, and another Capcom game is also getting XBone-exclusive DLC.

Maybe that Dragon's Dogma 2 rumor isn't going to pan out as well for the PS4 as it seemed...

This is great to hear, I think this is absolutely necessary at the conference.

Thanks for the last few pages! It's given me a bit more confidence.

Theres no language to suggest exclusivity for either ME2 or DR3, wait till tomorrow I think.
They probably are both timed exclusives imo.

No, CBoaT even said in his post that if a pub/dev doesn't specifically say "This game is exclusive to XBO," then it's safe to assume MS money-hatted them to stay quiet about PS4, but a PS4 version is running behind the scenes.

i'm not surprised at cboat's news, microsoft hasn't had a major exclusivity coup at e3 in years. it's always the most obvious shit (exclusive dlc for pablum like the latest cod).

Just to throw this out there, it was famousmortimer that first threw out the idea that MS was trying to pay third party devs to not talk about the PS4 versions of their game. You know what he also said? That at last check Sony had backed off from using DRM.

No, NO! Again, just because it's at MS's conference doesn't mean it is an exclusive or even a timed exclusive. Assassin's Creed III was at Sony's conference last year, was that a timed exclusive? No.

MS is just shelling out cash to show off games at their conference instead of Sony's. They don't want people to think these games are multiplatform, even though they are.

I think the reason they are being so tight lipped about it is because its going to be a bullet point of their presentation. Probably going to have Kaz/Trentton just say it will all work exactly like the PS3.

It's insane realizing that us GAFers have information that 99.99% of people don't know who are also anticipating the press conferences. The feeling is very exhilarating like I'm part of the Matrix.

Yeah, it's going to be difficult but it seems we will really need to keep our ears peeled for when the announcements remain coy around exclusive without really saying "Exclusive" this year again.

Microsoft will be paying devs not to mention PS4 versions at E3.
If you do not hear them say "EXCLUSIVE" or "FIRST ON", then it WILL be coming on the PS4 most likely DAY and DATE.
You will most likely get this from half of the titles at Microsoft's event.

They're also tarnishing their relationship with PS4 gamers. I know I'll definitely think twice about buying a multiplatform game if its publisher pretends the PS4 version doesn't exist until the day it releases.

We got enough of that nonsense from Bethesda this gen. Never again.
