Lococycle looked pretty good. 1080p/60fps does half the work for them. Even Crimson Dragon looked better than the stuff they had at the cramped 360/XBLA section in the corner of the booth, though I'm surprised that it's targeting 30fps.What about Lococycle or Crimson Dragon? C'mon, hiding? I don't think so.
I get that this game is pure fanservice rather than an awesome hardcore fighting game, and I haven't even played the original but I'll still get this. Looks really great both visually and in gameplay imo.I like the art style:

Well, wouldn't it be likely that they will still polish it some more before release?
I don't get it. I'm still purchasing a PS4 but are we even seeing a benefit of the GDDR5?
Can't you find proper screenshot, not shitty Youtube video to prove your opinion?

GAF mods are not fanboys, unlike B3D. If anything, GAF are pro-PC to a huge extent.unless they were Sony fanboys then it'd be acceptable I suppose
Because it's pro-MS, like you.that the little scenario in your post means nothing to me
Lol Ok fair enough. But my point still stands, a "simple fan service" this is not.People said the same thing about DoA5... Look how that turned out. This game will show up at Evo once and never come back.
Ram doesn't usually increase framerates like that, it reduces stuttering at best.Didn't they mention that Killzone is only using something like 3 gigs of ram? I think the difference between 30 and 60 fps this gen is simply going to be laziness.
Faster RAM make no visible difference on PCs.

The fact there are ZERO 60fps games on PS4 BUT there are on XB1 should speak volumes. And yes I'll say it again and again if I have to, MS have a beast of a machine that neogafers refuse to believe, final teardowns will prove this.. As for now the next gen engines and the games are showing this for us..

60fps is something a dev asks the console maker they want to achieve upfront and works towards through the evolution of the engine and game.
I find it ridiculous that PS4 ,thou not surprising, no engine/game delivers 60fps. Clearly Sony and PS4 played a role in the inability for any 60fps games, not just dev problem.

Gemüsepizza;65392536 said:Uh what? 60 fps is a dev choice, it has nothing to do with Sony/Microsoft's function as a console maker. And the PS4 is more powerful than the X1, it has 55% more processing power, 158% more memory bandwidth and 40% more usable RAM for games, so if a game is 60 fps on X1, the same game will easily be 60 fps on the PS4. And there are 60 fps games on PS4, for example AC4 and BF4.

No.
XO games were running 60fps because nearly all Sim Racers and Beat em Ups run at 60fps. It is the defacto frame rate for these types of games, and as such is down to simply being a design choice. Whether BF4 and other games can offer smooth 60fps without any downgrades to visuals remains to be seen.
There's not a single Sony platform that can't do 60fps up until Ps4. I think it's ridiculous to believe Sony just started now to make a 30fps console off what is still incomplete hardware.I find it ridiculous that PS4 ,thou not surprising, no engine/game delivers 60fps. Clearly Sony and PS4 played a role in the inability for any 60fps games, not just dev problem.

Dumbest post I've seen in a tech thread so far. Devs don't ask about it, they just do it. Also, here's several of confirmed 60fps games for PS460fps is something a dev asks the console maker they want to achieve upfront and works towards through the evolution of the engine and game.

BF4
DriveClub
MGSV
All sports games
True but he said there were no 60fps games announced for PS4 at all. These are and will likely hold it more steady than the XBO versions.Driveclub is aiming to be 60 FPS, and correct me if I'm wrong, but all those other games are 60 FPS on the X1 as well.
