Good thing you put /s, I had people accusing me of being a Microsoft astroturfer because im a junior and I made a similar comment jokingly in the ps4 preorder thread =P
Is /s the shorthand for /sarcasm? If so that's excellent! /sarcasm

Just like when Rick Perry had a huge lead over other candidates with months to go before the people decided for themselves nationwide, right?
Note that I'm a huge fan of the PS4, as well, before jumping on your conclusions mat.
No... what I'm meant to say is MS is launching their console at about the same time as Sony... therefore unlike Sony they won't suffer by losing their previous fan-base to their competitor
Example being how people couldn't wait for the ps3 and went and bought the 360 since it was the only next gen console on the market
So the Xbone has 33% less of a lead? :V

33% less interest. You can't have less of a lead if you are not in the lead.![]()

Right. As long as it costed $500 to vote for Romney and $400 to vote for Perry, this analogy works.
PS4 isn't either.
So that means it's actually a bigger lead if I recall correctly. But it's a more efficient lead.
But that's not an advantage. That's now a level playing field in which even with a year head start, PS3 beat 360 in sales. Not sure how that helps your argument that MS is sitting in the driver's seat of sales here.
I'm too tired to explain it correctly but... I'm just saying that people who own a 360 and want to go next gen will have the one waiting for them unlike how people who had ps2's last gen who wanted to go next gen only had the 360 in the market for a whole year therefore for a whole year you had people who where part of the ps2 userbase moving to the 360...
I hope this somewhat explains some stuff I pre-orded the ps4 and I'm not yet convinced to get a xbox one but I'm just a pessimistic guy In seeing a console dominance
also I just love Sony's I.Ps more and I just feel like MS's lack soul...
So the Xbone has 33% less of a lead? :V
It also has 50% more ROPs.
*Badum tiss*
Europe is hardly a surprise, but if PS4 beats Xbone in the US?
Ooooh boy...
Analysts.
My thread got locked yesterday for another analyst saying Xbox One pre-orders were up 3:1 over PS4.

The sample consisted of n=2062 individuals in the US and n=4118 in Europe ages 15-74.
How do you explain the PS4 being way ahead of the Xbone on Amazon?Analysts.

Analytics, not analysts.
One is based on opinion. One is based on raw data.
MS has:
2. Not suffering a late launch where their main competitor can be in the market for a whole year
Apologies. Based on only 6K people though? I assume PS4 has a lead, but odd that you can put a number on it already.

Yes, market research also came up with :
PS3 is going to crush the 360
Wii is going to be a flop
PSP is going to crush the DS
Looks legit i guess.
It'll be interesting to see how MS is going to tackle this issue. Fascinating stuff
And analysts also said the PS3 was going to crush the 360, where's that chart again. Also according to everyone, the Wii was going to be a total flop.
I think i'll wait and see.
Your comment reminded me of this articleNot surprising. I honestly don't think MS will win the next console war. The crazy part? I kind of don't think they care. It would be nice but they're after something that they feel is more important than total boxes sold, even if they lose some customers along the way.

"Methodology: Strategy Analytics conducted an online survey"
Thats when I stopped reading, this is about as believable as Microsoft shipping 3 to 1 versus Sony
