Got damn.

Good to see actual names being dropped instead of stupid subliminal shit even though he prefaced it with, "I got love for you but..." which took 100% of the venom out

Hot verse though

Why did he need to be venomous? I don't see anything wrong with him calling them all out and saying "look, I respect you guys, but come on, step it up a bit".

First one to talk gets to stay on the aircraft!
I really hope someone doesn't get it, get's really mad and responds. I really want to see K-Dot just Eminem someone.

Big K.R.I.T. doesn't have to respond to this. He already killed Kendrick on 1 Train.

OPINIONS

Although K.R.I.T. did have an awesome verse there, so did everyone.

I don't deserve to talk about hip-hop, though, I passed on going to a Kendrick concert.

That isn't nearly as impactful, I have no idea why people are acting like it was. Basically he said, "I'm the best, get on my level." and the dudes he called out he's worked with a bunch of times and if I had to assume, are probably his friends to an extent.

It's better than nothing, I guess.

Kendrick man is what Hip Hop needed...Jay Elect sounds like Inspectah Deck coming after him in typical Jay Elect Swag talking that 5% no bacon shit and i think Big Sean got bars..he's just a bit annoying vocally.

It didn't need to be venomous. But you'd think it was the way everyone is acting, especially all the shade being thrown at the dudes named and talk about "will they respond?" There's nothing to respond to since it's a challenge to step their overall bars up rather than a diss.

This is the type of stuff that used to go down in the studio without having to be said when dudes would collab. It strikes me as weird that it even needed to be said but apparently it must have been needed since the reactions to it are so wild.

This man said "tryin to make sure your core fan never heard of you ninjas."

Son....HOLD DAT!

Kendrick bodied all your favorite "new school" emo-rappers. Drake gonna hop on Hot 97 cryin like Jay and shit.

Love how fucking lame rap got. Now dudes passive aggressive on twitter (won't even mention him by name except joey) after getting absolutely scorched by Kendrick on a major track. And don't give me that, "doesn't even dignify a response", "so above it" shit that I know Drake would try to play. Its weak.

Listening to the radio just shows a lot of people don't actually listen to lyrics. People calling in saying Kendrick went at NAS, 3 Stacks, ETC.

Drake's not even sweating that track. He's got the ultimate out. He isn't a rapper.

When keepin it real goes wrong. Very, very wrong.
yea... No

He's right. I got shivers and felt downright happy when kendrick's voice came on the track then from there things just got 10x better by the second until the hairs on my arms were standing!

Rapper that makes music for highschool kids calls out rappers that make music for highschool kids. Fuck this shitty beat. That verse was okay though.

I want NY to write against this and come out hungry - not on some beef, but on the spirit of competition.

That's how this would've been in the 90s, or even the early 2000s before ringtones and such.

Kendrick was so savage.
