I'm grinning ear-to-ear, I can't believe the author made several chapters dedicated to finding a side-character's specific old video of shemale-on-male porn.
Also, in chapter 100, it looks like Nana finally found out how much trouble Kaoru goes through to make sure the BDSM gear they use is at the best condition it can be. He treats that leather like a pro and doesn't let her know because it would ruin the "cold sadistic master" illusion he has kept.
Though then again, Nana is probably just playing along at this point, since she's heard how many times Kaoru has covered her ass (literally and figuratively) and made himself look like an absolute creep to their classmates in the process.

I'm still catching up and I'm rather enjoying it, despite some head scratches. Rangiku with the short hair cut is still adorable and cute. Probably because she looks a lot like Ichigo's mom. "Vacuum ice" is still one of the stupidest things I've read in a while, which clearly shows that i didnt read any manga for a long time.
I'm still not sure what to make of Ichigo's and Uryuu's development. Two souls, one nazi general. Huh.

To be fair, Comixology charges MSRP for the first 6 months. So Magi would cost 9.99 on that. However, Comixology is day and date with print and digital.

It works in hindsight. That's different than actual foreshadowing though. I could have been just as likely that the hollow that bit her had poison in it's teeth or something. Had the same sort of thing been established as happening to Uryuu (or however it's spelled) when ever he took a hit from a hollow that would have been different.
The fact is it was a Dues Ex Machina because of how Urahara showed up randomly with the fix to their problems. Show a panel or two of him figuring it out or experimenting and then it wouldn't be a Dues Ex Machina.

You're confusing the issue of Urahara teleporting in with the solution to all of their problems to one about plot consistency. We never had a reason to believe Urahara was just going to figure it all out and save them, and certainly not that he could reduce it down to pill form.
I think the resistance to the idea is because people seem to not understand what a deus ex machina is, which is, to simplify it, a really big Asspull, NOT a Plot Hole. Since Urahara's explanation for what he did is internally consistent, if you think the complaint is about Plot Holes, its probably a confusing argument.
As upandaway isn't doing his job, we need a top 5 manga list from you, you can also do a top 5 each for ongoing and complete series of that helps.It seems like I can finally write stuff...
Hi everybody, I'm making my first post here because I read more manga than I play games, so I guess you'll have to put up with me the most. You won't see me here when the talk are Jump's big three because I'm reading them as I buy them and I don't care that much for them either way (I only continue to waste money on them because I have 60/50 volumes already), but except for that I guess I'll be always reading.
First of all, while lurking you I found out about Swagamoto, so I thank you with this:

This week I mainly read all the translated chapters of Daiya no A (that amount to 15 volumes out of 37 ongoing...) in preparation for the anime series.
I also read the first 24 chapter of Aozora Yell and I'm *really* glad that it was last translated 236 days ago (there are 13 ongoing volumes for this one too...). I don't even know why I bothered starting it (good read, though)

Not sure how it's a Deus ex machina, when we got a whole flashback with the very theme of Hollow and Quincy "DNA" not being able to work together, needing a Shinigami to give up his powers to let that person survive to begin with. Urahara just concluded his decade long research with his new findings from HM and developed those pills. It's pretty random how he got into the room, it's not random at all that he got something to help them with the medallion problem. Kubo has even shown us Uraha experimenting with the black matter some chapters ago.
This is a shounen manga, of course the big twists will come when the tension is up already, not during the beginning.
