Somebody over at
Reddit posted a nice list of upcoming (and failed) Kickstarters coming to Wii U. Might want to check that out and refer anyone who says "there are no indie games coming to Wii U" to that post
seems good.

Basically it (HTML5) is a web-based programming language. The same type of code that generates websites can now be used for interactive entertainment. ...Of course none of this would be possible without tools and documentation from Nintendo. Most of the code is natural HTML5, but there are situations when hardware or services must be called into your project that require specific Nintendo API's (application programming interface). (The experience was) easier than I anticipated.

A World of Keflings update:
Sadly, we didn't release A World of Keflings for the Wii U last year. Thankfully, Keflings will be arriving in the latter half of Q1 2014.
