Steady employment is always good. But don't give up on the dream. If you gotta put that shit on the back burner for a little bit then do it. Let it simmer, work on that main dish get it all prepped but always keep an eye on that dessert. But when you know that main is niced and seasoned right put that shit in the oven and let it cook itself. That's when you take the dessert off low heat put it back on the front and cook it some more. I hope you understood that.

Shame. Since I moved out here the whole job hunting thing's been a challenge. Really hoping I can start back up myself before the spring kicks off. Seems no one is really hirin' in Atlanta.

My best advice to you is really look it the TV industry there. They can at least put a few dollars in your pocket while you look for steady work. Hell if you get on with the right show and the like you you wont need to find a normal job till the season has wrapped

In Sept/Oct I was offered and interview with Tyler Perry Studios.... I had to turn it down due to being on a job already and being 400 miles away which sucked That job could have turned my whole life around and now ill never get to know what it would have done for me :\

If you have a clean criminal record, presentable, can deal with people, have transportation and can work nights then we can teach the rest. At the end of the day its all about observing and reporting. If you can follow simple instructions then its not hard. We deal with a few of the hotels in Atl and surrounding areas(neighborhoods, malls etc). Its a smallish security company that's growing fast. And to be honest we are looking for just decent people is all. Some people do it as side work others can maintain. But its worth a shot. I'll pm you with a number to call. Maybe it can help.
And also if you end up working nights, I'm the dispatcher with years of experience in the field and behind the scenes. I will walk you through any and all situations. Like I tell all my other officers "Just do what I tell you, trust me and I will make us both look good!"

It's so easy to take a "if they die, they die" approach in the beginning. Then that difficulty ramps up, and then dudes are coming at you from every side doing damage, and you're just like "Lord, be a power button."
