Charlie Kirk assassinated at Utah campus event

Reading this thread I truly realise what trouble the US is in. And most of those writing here seemingly lack the introspection and awareness to see that they are very much part of the problem themselves - they all think it is 'the other side'.
the funny thing is that the other side could literally be their moms, sisters, sons and fathers. this guy was apparently from a religious conservative republican family that got radicalized either by the left or groypers or both. so we have people ready to go to war against their own families.

Again the quest to fit in. Moron (not you, him)

I dont get how this guy evaluated that it was worth it. What exactly did he achieve?
Took a conservative MVP off the board. Possible chilling effect on conservative speech, especially public speech.

His own life is fucked, but make no mistake, losing Charlie at such a young age is a huge loss for the conservative movement.

On the groyper( far right and critical of Kirk) 4chan board some are convinced that he is one of them.

Looking at all the bullet casings, the writings read like ironic troll shit, not some manifesto. Its possible but I'd be surprised if he suddenly turned super left wing.

This guy was deep in some super online, deep corners of the internet shit that's for sure.

Some people are backpeddeling hard

lol he's not right wing and that's not even backpedaling. Christians will pray for his soul even (or even especially) if he is slated to be executed. It amazes me how secular people try to comment on Christian statements without even the slightest clue of what anyone actually believes.

read the thread, he was not far right. he was far left. and far gone.
The left only deals in lies sadly. Like they are now lying that this thread apparently widely expected the shooter to not be white at some point.

Also, there is not even a contradiction in the two tweets, unless she has said elsewhere that she has taken back her desire for the death penalty.

Xander Luke, who was in Tyler Robinson's class at Pine View High School, recalled Robinson as a good student who was into internet memes, video games and politics.
They had several classes together, and while they were not close friends, they would sometimes talk about their frustrations with both political parties, Luke, 22, said in an interview.
"We shared the same sentiments about how both the Democratic and the Republican party were both not very much for the interests of the people anymore," he said. "They both just make promises and don't really do anything and just stay in power."
During most of their high school tenure, President Donald Trump was in his first term. Luke said Robinson didn't like Trump but also wasn't excited by Joe Biden, whose victory over Trump came during their senior year.
Luke added that Robinson didn't like "hateful people" and "people who would talk down about others." He was upset by figures who seemed like bullies — who voiced prejudices against people based on their race or sex, Luke said.
"We would have conversations every once in a while about our distaste about the way things had gone on in the world where people had become more hateful and our government hadn't been helping us as much," he said.
Robinson was quiet but passionate, Luke said.
"He was quite intelligent and would do well in school. I would say he was a good student," Luke said. "He would pay attention. He wouldn't talk a lot, but he wasn't super out of the way. … He had friends. He was very normal."

Backpedaling? You really think that a republican senator would gladly have a left wing transshooter executed, but has second thoughts now Charlie Kirk's killer is a cisgender "far-right" man? Do you actually believe that nonsense?? I think you'd be laughed at even at the purple forum.

Your take is even more nonsensical now that people who knew the shooter confirm he was a leftist.

"Mean words" can radicalize too. If you act like every single person on the left is a member of the "radical left" then what does that justify? A whole bunch of crap, from the reasonable to the irrational.
There's a big diff in saying mean things, than the Left calling everyone who don't agreee with them a genocide-nazi-fascist-hitler.

So he was a centrist that didn't like or vote for either party and probably saw Kirk as a bully.

There's an entire group of the left, which is much bigger than a reasonable person would expect, that seriously wants you dead. They don't respect you, your culture, your history, your ancestry, your values, your religion, etc. And this rhetoric is amplified by democrats, who put targets on conservatives politicians by pushing these absurd claims of fascism and nazism

Living up to the stereotype there, Hassan.

What's sad is he's been consistently trying to target me in this thread and I called him out on his bullshit and now he tries to run to the mods

Classic Resetera behavior if you ask me
What the fuck are you even on about? Quote all the things I've said in this thread and point out where I've been "targeting" you. Do it, come on back up your words.

This is beyond ridiculous and almost comedic. Anybody falling for this is a ripe candidate for misinformation and soft in the head.
A lot of people are seeking confirmation bias right now and they will believe whatever aligns with what they have already decided must be true. It's still going to take time for the full truth to come out. But grifters gotta grift.

I don't know, maybe he became more radical over time, especially in the years after Trump's first term. The part about prejudices against people based on their race or sex seems more aligned with the left politics.

I'm glad they're talking to someone who is willing to reveal his own name, rather than the other presumed acquaintance going anonymous.

"If you read this, you are gay"; sounds left for you? really?

Everything that was on the bullets screams edgelord, if he also was a groyper, is unclear yet.

I don't see how anyone can see Kirk as a bully. Folks come TO HIM, he isnt standing by the only water fountain on a hot summer day pushing some kids away and only letting his cronies drink.
I mean thats only 1 kind of bullying.
"bullies — who voiced prejudices against people based on their race or sex," as in the article... Was probably his perception based on what he heard and read from Kirk. Not saying it's right or wrong Just spitballing as we wait for more info.
That was when they were both teenagers in high school during Trumps first term (2016-2020).
True, although he also didn't vote last year iirc so I wouldn't be surprised if he still doesn't like either party.

I have a feeling when we become 70+, we'll all suffer from some form of dementia in varying degrees. Can't take what boomers say too seriously
Hopefully not, it was bad science that had the medical industry chasing brain plaque cures which ending up being faked data on the original studies and it cost us decades. As all the products that prevent or reduced the plaque did nothing in preventing or helping patients.

The current thing coming out is that alzheimers and dementia are almost but not quite a type 3 diabetes where the brain itself become insulin resistant. We're hopefully not too far off from treatments.

They'll be pushing for the death sentence.

The anti fascist and Bella ciao bullet do.

And the fact that he killed Charlie Kirk who was beloved amongst most if not all conservatives.

The evidence at this point points to him being a radical leftist but I'll wait for more information

I don't expect to get answers anytime soon and this thread will likely be locked long before we do.
I say keep it open. If people are too far right or left they will out themselves and move to the the other forum or 4chan. Which is ironic because they won't reach far enough to fit in there.

Y'all really going to believe a tweet with no source for their information? The critical thinking skills in this country are going down the toilet fast.
i was being sarcastic cause minutes before this i posted this one

"according to some over here, he is a 4chan furry extreme right wing conservative and religious that killed Charlie just cause he thought Charlie would like to be close to God, he also made inscriptions on the bullets to troll everyone in thinking he was a leftist antifa, also there is a picture of him on Donald Trump shoulders going to hunt leftists with someone else, right wingers ll tell you that this picture is a Halloween costume to mock DT, dont belive them."

We really do though. At today's press conference, they said the parents said he had suddenly gotten more political and expressed hate for Charlie Kirk and his views at the dinner table, talking about how Kirk was coming to Utah. Then there's the 'catch fascist' on the bullet. And now this latest thing in the Guardian from a friend.

We know where this kid was politically. Focus now needs to shift to where he was radicalized online.
Appreciate the update.
