Also, gabriel has done something seriously bad.

For Fucks Sake! This is a goddamn series. putting important things behind the credits is just stupid!

They obviously want us to suspect that Bob was bitten, and I don't see how they can reveal that he wasn't, so I am going with bitten. I'm hoping that eating the trainted meat is going to somehow give us human/zombie hybrids, it would be nice for zombies to be some kind of threat again, and the only way to do that now is to have massive hordes of them or to have some kind of intelligence leading them.Bob stuff
First, Gareth was talking to Bob and called him by his name in the first episode when they we're about to be slaughtered, so it is not surprising he was talking to him the same way at the end of this episode. I'm pretty sure it is just a case of him knowing Bob from when they first got to terminus and nothing deeper.
I think Bob is bit due to two things. First was the obviousness of the scene in the water. It wasn't filmed like just a "close call". Second is the whole game Bob and Sasha were playing, where she'd say something terrible and he'd put a positive spin on it. "So you got attacked by cannibals and they are eating your leg" "Yeah but..."
Just speculation. But I think he locked those ppl and his gf/wife in that shelter with the food, because they were under attack or somthing and he ran scared. He dosent seem like someone who who would directly take a life. Also, gabriel has done something seriously bad.
I can't imagine how many casual fans missed the post-credits scene with Morgan. Come on people. You're going to watch talking dead anyway so you leave the channel on...right.....right?!

Bob got out to look at the flowers.
And nah, Garret was just very casual in his approach to Bob. He just talked to him the way he did bcause he could. He doesn't care what their prey tells 'em, he has a story, a motive, so he shares.

meh watch the conan episode from the premier and say that again. There's some really great episodes at times depending on the guest.Watch Talking Dead? I don't hate myself nearly enough to do that.
Just watched the episode last night...
That ending with Bob seriously grossed me the fuck out.

I'm trying to speculate what that pastor did but I have absolutely no idea.
Also, did anyone think the scene with Daryl and the water jug was a blooper that they decided to add? It looked way too out of place and humorous to have been scripted, imo. ( if mentioned before, don't kill me. I'm on my phone and can't go back tons of pages while at work )

3)Imo Gabriel's sin was locking the church and letting his flock die.
My thoughts on where this story is going, w/Possible comic book similarities blacked out, even though I don't believe they are going to follow comic events to the T.
1)Dale... err I mean "Bob" got bit, but in a place that can't be cut off like his chest, stomach, or back.
Why I think this is because crying from such a normally positive character made his bite punch in the face obvious.
Yes his meat is tainted, but nobody turns from it.
2) Morgan (Carol 2.0)is going to supply plot armor to an original 5 cast member and save the day... Yippee!TV-Jesus?
3)Imo Gabriel's sin was locking the church and letting his flock die.
4) I can't wait to see where Daryl and Carol get off to while chasing the god-mobile!Will this begin to introduce The Hilltop, Negan's outpost network, The Kingdom? I hope for the outposts myself. In that motherfucking king badass motherfucker Negan I trust!
Just speculation. But I think he locked those ppl and his gf/wife in that shelter with the food, because they were under attack or somthing and he ran scared. He dosent seem like someone who who would directly take a life.

Gabriel is a priest....
And Rick is a cop...
Priests don't marry or have girlfriends dude.
hmm in my country thats quite normal that a priest or father or however you call them is married.
Priests don't marry or have girlfriends dude.
After re-watching it yes, i think is a blooper, that's why Carol is corpsing and Daryl still in character and all serious.
Oh, I thought you meant about him locking people out.
Never mind then.

Also
I thought Rick with the baby responding in the church was a moment of improve from the group, seemed genuine.
Bob was acting funny the moment he was saved in the episode.
I think Gabriel probably ran scared one day and locked everyone outside then they desperately tried to get in and realised what he had done, etched that writing on the church before fleeing to that town and ending up in the basement.
Priests don't marry or have girlfriends dude.
That's the most probable reasoning but are to many things up in the air for it to be 100% positive. This show goes all over the place so who the hell knows.
Ah. He could have broken his vows which is what it seemed like. The "You will burn for this" carved into the wall of the church could have been about that. Then the congregation found out and went on a witch hunt. There are a million things it could have meant.
It shows that his church is Episcopal, which are allowed to marry. Shit, they even have woman and gay preachers.
Only other theory that springs to mind, he let whoever was in that car that took Beth or whoever it was last season, people from his group up to a point where they went to hide in town which unfortunately lead to their doom anyway.
The real story is that Carl did it, so that he could create some drama.
Just speculation. But I think he locked those ppl and his gf/wife in that shelter with the food, because they were under attack or somthing and he ran scared. He dosent seem like someone who who would directly take a life.

Did not know that.
Wait, do you mean priest? Gabriel has a priest collar.
Honestly I would assume that is a production oversight. I went to an Episcopal church when I was younger and still had to go to church and don't remember seeing those. I don't believe all non-catholic denominations actually wear the white-on-black priest collar. In fact I don't think non-catholic denominations even use the term "priest."
IIRC some Episcopalians and Lutherans will refer to preachers as priests. Some Lutherans and Anglicans will wear clerical collars as well. It's not just Catholic priests.
comic spoiler:
nooo, I don't want Negan to appear on the show... Glenn is my favorite character =(
and "that" scene is just TOO brutal.
Comic Conversation
Well... if you believe him, Kirkman did say in the fan letters section that the reason he killed comic-Glenn was because he thought the TV actor was so absolutely perfect as Glenn, that the comic version felt like a lesser version and thus he couldn't write him anymore. Or something like that, it was a while ago that I read that.
They'll probably do it to Daryl. Or Maggie.
